Doggies, Doggos and Doggeroos!

That first one is of Tucker Budzyn, who I follow on Instagram, and who actually won Pet Influencer of the Year a few months ago. Yes, probably a good 90% of the IG accounts I follow are animal related.
I've been wondering lately how aware dogs are of their tails. It's just that sometimes, they almost seem confused when they hit things, like they didn't realize they were there, and then of course there's also lots of videos out there of them attacking them.

Thanks for confirming Tucker who I can tell from the mane is the Retriever that dives in from the left and is my favourite in that video.

Interesting about dog tails because I think dogs can sometimes forget about them which is why they knock in to things although I'm sure even cats who are well aware of their tails have been known to knock over ornaments with it.

My dog was like Santa's Little Helper from The Simpsons in how she would turn around without realising there's a wall or door in the way and....donk! It never bothered her which made it even funnier. Sometimes she would remember to back up before turning around to avoid the muzzle donk but that's my most treasured memory of her. The daftness which is how it should be.

Our rottie had a docked tail (a practice now illegal in Australia) so it was never a case of his suddenly going after it. Also given the way the stump went on occasions might have been a good thing :)

Can't ever recall the shih-tzu maltese-X ever reaction to her tail but that might have something to with it being more a vertical tail than horizontal.

Yeah, I recognized that video from when his owner posted it a while back.
