Great find! That is a fantastic map, and from an fairly authoritative source.
Given how big the UFP was said to be in the late 24th century (8000 ly's), that's a decent chunk of the Galaxy.
Though, if we want to be 'accurate', recent estimates put the Milky Way at probably being 50% LARGER than previously thought.
And this article from the Insider states that the Milky Way's mass was recently (in 2019) recalculated to be about 1.8 Trillion Solar Masses (whereas Andromeda galaxy weighs in at just about 800 billion solar masses).
So, the Milky Way could actually be much larger than thought before:

Man, I really hope they do run into the Dominion, and maybe some remnants of the Borg. Just because the show is for kids doesn't mean it can't touch on anything from the "adult shows."
