I don't think it's fair. Because the intent of the contest is to have people come up with clever or unusual casting decisions, and if yours is Tom, you're just going to get votes from fans of his Doctor.

Thanks. I hate to disqualify entries, as I prefer to let the vote speak for itself, but what self-respecting Doctor Who fan wouldn't vote for Tom Baker? It sounds sacrilegious.

I wouldn't vote for Tom Baker. But then, the Doctor before #9 that I've seen was thanks to 'Time Crash'.

That said, I can't think of an entry for my own contest.

Just think of your fave famous person, and put 'em in front of a TARDIS!

That's a vote. Daniel Craig is teh awesome as Bond, and was pretty good in The Golden Compass and Road to Perdition.

Scottish-American actor and comedian Craig Ferguson. I imagine that his Doctor would be halfway between Troughton and Tennant with a Eccleston-esque broodiness hiding just below the surface. This Doctor Twelve wouldn't fall in love with his ocmpanion, or vice versa, but they would create a running gag of how not-attracted to each other they are.
