Well, I for one can't wait to see Captain Jack's reaction when/if he meets Jenny. :D

I could just see the reaction a new companion would have to jenny

"your daughter?! she looks like your kid sister"

"another blonde? figures"

10 bucks says Jenny will be back and have her own spinoff series >_>

Yup, it seemed like it was perfectly set up for that.
cos that is just what this verse needs ANOTHER spin-off, really i like the Whoverse but really the spin-offs are getting out of hand, unless they cancel one, or air a few episodes whilst Doctor Who isnt on next year, we dont need another spin-off.

I agree. I like the idea of her being a recurring guest star, but she doesn't need her own show (also, while I thought she was a better actress than Freema Agyeman, I don't think she's good enough to hold her own show).

as to her being a future companion? really so you want the 10th Doctor basically travelling with a younger blonder more female version of himself? if she is to be a companion it needs to be a with a Doctor who has a differnt personality to 10 & Jenny.

Well, I don't think she has the same personality at all. She can act quirky, like Tennant does, but that's about it.

EDIT: I guess I might as well give my thoughts on the destruction of the Time Lords (although it's an interesting discussion and deserves its own thread). Old Who started out with a simple concept, the Doctor and his campanion(s). At the beginning, the concept of Galifrey didn't exist. Over time, the Time Lords seemed to make up more and more of his life. I think the biggest thing that separates Old Who and New Who is that they are no mroe. He has no past to go to, he can only continue his travels. I think this plot worked really well for the first season as Christopher Eccleston played a Doctor who regretted what had happened and how everyone had died but him (especially in Dalek). David Tennant has done a great job when it's come up as well, although they've definitely downplayed it a bit. Still, at the same time, the descriptions of Galifrey in The Sound of Drums really gave me a longing to see it in the full glory of 21st century budget and technology.

Still, to have Galifrey suddenly reappear would cheapen the storyline that's been building over time. Does that mean I think we'll never see it again? Of course not. Doctor Who has many years ahead of it and they all won't be with Russel T. Davies. Eventually, someone will want to bring the Time Lords back permanently (and Doctor Who plays lose with any rules, so they can do what they want). But I don't want to see it any time soon. The story of the Time War plays out very slowly and I like it that way. It'll eventually be concluded, then they can consider undoing it.

Of course, I'd consider Romana entirely separate (just like the Master is separate). I think the idea that she escaped into E-Space would work well. A return to E-Space seems to fit with everything else the new show has by bringing things back a bit at a time. I'd go with a story where she returns to fight the Time War, but manages to escape at the end (once again giving the viewers more details of the time war and giving the Doctor something in the past to cling on to). The problem is how to end it. I don't like the idea of making her a Companion again (the show needs new companions). I see a couple of options. The first is that the Doctor has to leave again, but she can't (tearful goodbyes, the Doctor has something he knew snatched away again), Romana dies (this one would just suck, so I hope they don't do that), or Romana somehow leaves on her own and appears as a guest star on occasion, like Martha Jones (they'd have to explain why she doesn't travel with the Doctor, but this would make sense).

In House, Wilson (The best friend) is having sex with a female version of House which is hilarious because only Thirteen goes both ways... But Jack wants to straight out rub uglies with the Doctor so this isn't a loophole with which he can dodge any subversive homoeroticism, since Captain Jack's homoeroticism and many other erotocisms are all forthright front and centre.

where did that come from?

Right, that and I believe he's honest in interviews on his views about the Time War, Gallifrey, and particularly The Doctor's solitude.

Servo said "Jack and Jenny" nudge nudge wink wink. Jack will shag anything. Jack on top of Jenny is an end around of the Doctor shagging the Jack so the people in arms about the saber rattling of the gay agenda being so blatant can have a breather, since they almost blew some valves out when they said it a couple times in the first season about what the dancing was really a metphore for.

Jack wants the Doctor, and they've made a female approximation for his appropriate sexual needs. Wilson wants House, and they've made a female approximation for his appropriate sexual needs.

Of course Wilson didn't know he wanted a female house till he met Cutthroat Bitch so it's unlikely he would have mounted the original House. Meanwhile Jack and the Doctor are right into each other and this just further lubricates a down hill sleigh ride into orgasm town.

No offence dude, but you have a slightly skewed take on the world. I wouldn't have put all that together. :)
