Depends on the time setting of the new movie.
If it's set more or less immediately after tha last one then yes.
If a few years have past for the characters then no.
Although they should keep a very close friendship between the two.

NO.

It was a mistake. Let it go down the memory hole. If there has to be a romantic interest for Spock, let it be Chapel and let it be low-key.

im not sure... it seemed rather forced and awkward. and the whole "youre my teacher and superior officer but im in love with you" type deal didnt really fly with me.

Continue, as long as it's not overshadowing anything else. I loved how it was handled in the first one.

Only if there's a scene in XII with them in a bathtub together.

Actually, no. Let's focus on the bedrock Spock, Kirk, McCoy relationship, instead. We don't need Uhura playing Yoko Ono.

Kirk: Mr. Spock, would you like to join Dr. McCoy and me on a camping trip to Yosemite when we get back to Earth?
McCoy: We'll roast marsh mellons.
Spock: Captain, doctor, the invitation is most gracious, but Nyota and I have plans.
McCoy: Oh?
Spock: Yes. We are going to visit her relatives in the African Republic for a week, then we're going to a spa in India, and finally shopping in Tokyo.
McCoy: Boy, are you whipped.

Hey, if it means Kirk, Spock, and Bones won't be singing "Row, Row, Row Your Boat" anymore, then it's all good. :)

But they'd probably ask Scotty to come along instead, and he'd have to bring Keenser.

On topic, if this were a new weekly TV series, I'd say go ahead and explore a romance between Spock and Uhura. As it is, there may be only two more movies, and in my opinion, that means sticking to the basics that made Trek work in the past. There's just not enough time to start something completely new like this.

But how much do you think it really needs to be explored? They fit it in the current movie, and I didn't feel like it was taking focus away from anything else. It added another layer of emotion to the film. From Trek XI, it seemed like they were already in a pretty healthy relationship, so it's not we need to see how it develops. I just think it would be weird to drop it completely from the next film.
