When ENT started I had problems with Scott Bakula as the lead because he was too closely associated, for me, with Quantum Leap so didn't feel "right". I went away and over the years, saw a few episodes. Some were okay, some were not and I wasn't enticed into wanting to watch any more.
During lockdown I thought I would watch the whole series (and Voyager because I'd never seen all the episodes of that) because how could I claim to be a Trek fan without having watched it? I didn't have a problem with Bakula this time round as QL was so far in the past. What I did have was a problem with was sheer dullness. There were a number of episodes that were themes that had already been done several times and, with each repetition had got weaker. By ENT there was really nothing else to be said. The Temporal War was a mess (I am of the opinion that time travel, like the Mirror Universe and Section 31 is best left to the occasional fun episode as, the more you look at it, the less sense it makes). There were too many dips in the "despite it being said that we've never met the Ferengi/been to the MU/whatever, we are going to put them in ENT" well. I was uncomfortable with the way T'Pol was portrayed. Really, by that date, ST should have known better.
I'm afraid I gave up halfway through season 2 and despite my good intentions, have not been back. There are some good episodes, just not enough. Having said that, I have no quarrel with other people liking ENT or, indeed any other show I don't like personally.
