Do You Have Any Weird Habits?

My favorite snack is Chocolate Chip Cookies and Barbecued Potato Chips.

That sounds like my obsession with chocolate bars and popcorn. I love the salty and sweet together.
Yeah, exactly. Chocolate and Popcorn would work, too. :bolian:

I prefer Roaring 20s Artistic Nudes to anything contemporary.

So do I. Today's nudes all look like piles of dried twigs adorned with plastic bumps. I prefer women with curves and a more demure quality. (They also look like they have a secret that I would find scandalous. I find that so much more intriguing.)
Plus I like all the classy little scenarios they used, with the painted backdrops and statuary and Graeco- Roman columns and so on. Very cute.

I carry a golf ball most places I go.
Interesting! Any particular reason?

There are so many. Let's see, I've just asked my roommates: apparently I wiggle my toes when I'm eating, does that count as a habit?

That sounds really sexy.
 I also make a lot of noise when I eat. Not lip-smacking slurping gross noises or anything like that, but a lot of "mmmm"s, and "yum"s, and "Aaaaah"s. When I was 14 or so my mom, sisters, and a friend of mine were eating dinner together (mom'd made a really nice arroz con pollo), and my mother remarked on what a noisy eater I was. She said, "You know, people who are noisy eaters are loud in bed!" Fortunately, I'm not the type to be embarrassed.

Off the top of my head:
Setting up my DVD player to run non-stop all night and falling asleep to it.
Drinking dill pickle juice.
Talking to my dog like he's a person and kissing him good-bye on his little fuzzy head.

I second this. I accidentally spill my popcorn into my chocolate ice cream all the time. My nephew looked at me like I was disgusting...but LOL maybe that look was for another reason.

You know, there's a follow-up question that comes to mind rather quickly, here... :p

^A lady doesn't divulge such information.
Drinking dill pickle juice.
Ewwwww...my sister does this too. For odd eating habits:
-I can drink soda only through a straw, and will refuse it if there is no straw available.
-If I should be eating peanut m&ms, I separate all the colors and eat them into regular amounts. Then I eat the warm colored m&ms first and the cool colored ones last. (Though I think I am not alone in color-coded m&m eating.)

As to talking to oneself, I agree that most sane people do this. I also talk to things a lot. Last night my roommate got a kick out of my telling the popcorn, "Come on, I know you've got a few left in you." And when I watch TV I talk to the characters all the time.

What about non-peanut m&ms?

I carry my stethoscope everywhere I go. But that's usually because I forget to take it out of my bag when I'm not working. :p
Now, I find this a little sexy.
Thanks. :) Me, I consider leaving things in my bag a sign of absent-mindedness.

Plus the 'scope is looking very much worse for wear as a result. I may have to get a new one soon. [Stop crossing your legs, Ravescene - someone]

I always have to be wearing my watch, unless I am sleeping or showering.

I always have a pen on me. If I reach into my pocket and there is no pen, I freak out.

My pockets always have the same things in them:

Right front - wallet and pen (and wine opener if I'm at work)
Left front - chapstick and keys
Left back - cellphone (unless I'm wearing cargo pants; then the cellphone goes in the left cargo pocket)

I always have to untie my shoes before I put them on. I can't just slip on shoes.

^ Let's play doctor...what else you got in your bag o' tricks there. *wink wink*
Well, I also keep an ophthalmoscope and an otoscope attachment, which comes in handy on the ward sometimes. It's small, but it does the job. :bolian:

^ Oh you had me at attachment. I think I'm in looooooooove.

If I hear one more time how shit is small but it still gets the job done I'm going to jump.... LOL LOL

My pockets are arranged in a similar fashion. Wallet, phone, glasses cleaning cloth, and inhaler, when I have it on me, go in my right front, any pens or pencils go in the change pocket above that, and my keys go in the left front, along with any tissues I may carry with me. The only thing that goes in my back pockets, ever are folded up pieces of paper that I may need to carry with me, such as lists, schedules, or a joke I found funny, and have printed out to show my friends. Even if I'm wearing cargo pants, I hardly ever use the other pockets. Also, the carbeener with my house key, thumb drive, the key to my violin case, and any discount card memberships I have, goes on my right front belt loop, and gets tucked into the right front pocket to prevent jingling.

I have a similar setup. Wallet in left hip pocket, keys in the right, occasionally with the phone if it isn't in an available shirt or inside (left) coat pocket. Nothing in the rear bum-cheek pocket(s). Spare glasses (the tinted ones ) in my bag.

Out of habit, I now keep my wrist-watch in my pocket, except when I remember to wear it on my wrist when going out. At work, I have the wrist watch attached to my name badge which is slung around my neck.

And yes, even when off duty, I keep a pen in one of my pockets. A simple, Bic disposable ballpoint pen.

Whenever I'm wearing jeans:

Right Front Pocket: Wallet, comb
Left Front Pocket: Hankerchief, keys, cell phone (when I wear a coat or light jacket depending on the weather or season, I put cell phone in coat pocket.)
Right Back Pocket: List, receipts
Left Back Pocket: Usually empty
