Do You Get A Gay Vibe From Watching Wesley ,And The Traveler?

I got flaming homosexuality over that whole episode, might as well had the traveler bend Wes over that console and Captain Rump ride him...

Sorry I just hate Weenie gay ass Wil Wheaton. HATED the character with a passion, a useless character extra with no life and stuck aboard a ship with his mother.

I can see Wes now sitting in his underwear between duty in Starfleet eating cheetos and watching reruns of old sitcoms of Boosum buddies and drinking pepsi. Taking care of his gray haired mother... Shacking up with his Klingon man love slave TARG with his whips handcuffs painstick and his spiked cock ring as it goes up his wazoo...

WE ALL KNOW WES CRUSHER would like that.

Seriously...this hateful ranting isn't nice :wtf:

Not even a little bit. then again I'm not one of those people who has to find gay in everything.

Obligatory 'not that there's anything wrong with that' remark withheld.

I would hope that in the future that wes would be open enough to fall for a member of the same species or gender. He obviously felt like he preferred girls at that point. I really hadn't considered the traveler and him as a couple. Thinking about it now makes me not want to think about it.

I recommend reporting and ignoring hateful posts instead of quoting them.

Dude, seriously, that was uncalled for. (And not even grammatically correct or capitalized and punctuated properly.)

To answer the OP, it depends what you are watching Wesley and Traveler doing. :)

This is really out of keeping with the nature and tone of the TNG forum.

You're pretty much equating homosexuality with a lot of negative personal traits with some pretty inflammatory language, which would clearly be potentially offensive towards homosexual members here. Please consider other members' feelings here.

Save this sort of inflammatory stuff for TNZ rather than TNG. Thanks.

Thanks plague. You're right, this is good advice. Thanks to those who reported it.

I was just mulling over how its gotten to a point that anytime males even appear on screen together with dialogue there is automatically a gay conotation. Honestly, homosexual males spend way too much time thinking about this.

Yeaaah... I'd lean more toward repressed homosexuals and homophobes spending 'too much time thinking about this.'

(I make no insinuations one way or the other regarding the OP.)

My point being that homosexual males seem to be the ones who bring both this topic and the myriad of threads asking when gay characters will appear on this show or movie etc. Not everything revolves around their sexuality, that's all:rolleyes:...and yes I am sure that homophobes spend time worrying about the subject, but not as much as homosexual males would probably like to think.

I've noticed the opposite, actually, at least when it comes to arguing about such topics. That's usually generated by males who profess to be straight. Besides, there's nothing wrong with wanting to see people similar to one's self reflected in the kinds of shows one enjoys.

^ And even if he is, that doesn't mean he'd make a play for Wesley, who was just a kid at the time. There's a name for grownups who have sexual desires concerning kids, and it's not "gay."

Yes, Liberace gay. Especially the episode where Wesley leaves. It could be described as toyboy elopes with old man across the universe. Also remember that Wesley was infatuated with Picard and dated chicks to conceal his gayness.

Indeed. And it's a damn important distinction that applies here. Even if, for the sake of the OP, we presume they were both gay and shared some attraction, hopefully the Traveler would have not crossed that line.

Ummm....I don't "remember" that...did you forget to include a winking icon?

Doug

I should hope so.

Remember all those times Wesley sucks up to Picard? I want to be just like you sir etc, even the sampling of Picards voice, wtf!

It's called "hero worship," John. Jeez. When I was a kid, I really admired my 4th grade teacher, and I've always admired Abraham Lincoln, but that doesn't mean I wanted to have sex with either one of them.

EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW no, that was totally a mentor relationship, or even a father/son relationship. And if there were a vibe, nambla would have a field day with that episode. gross lol.
