All I can say at this point is clearly there is nothing off the table in terms of political mudslinging, no matter how it affects innocent people.

And Damon... oh... poor guy. It must be tough being rich and entitled.

You're telling me Gunn's not rich? He never has to work a day in his life again.

You guys come across like you are oh, so humanitarian and principled but in the end of the day you're playing favorites just like anyone else.

It’s just a total coincidence that our favorites are decent people getting fucked over and the other side’s favorites are actual rapists, pedophiles and other criminals. It’s funny how that works out.

Liberals though do toss people under the bus when they cross a line of being offensive or criminal. Do you think anyone wanted to take down many of the A-List talent such as Spacey,Louie C.K etc until we found out they did bad things? If Gunn had been found to have been a pedophile for real do you think anyone would be doing a Roy Moore defense of him? It's true maybe in the past that was the case with Bill CLinton but their has been a change in attitude. People are so strong on this issue we are basically going to give the next election to Trump when he and his trolls find ways to expose some of the dirty secrets of liberals who will be running by doing the right thing. On the other hand nobody still stands up to Trump.

Being rich and entitled don’t always go hand in hand. Of course Gunn is rich. He also realized and acknowledged what he has done.

Damon tried to lecture a black woman about race. And didn’t see why he got called out for it.

I’m playing favorites becaue I clearly stated what would be required for forgiveness and the people you have mentioned don’t fit that?

How am I playing favorites?

This post is simply one monkey short of perfect.

I have been reading through most of the comments and I'm not interested in getting into the debate on this. But it is very possible that Gunn is under some kind of gag order on this. It seems like he still gets paid for this film and he might not be able to speak as long as he is under contract.

If your theory is correct, he still had the freedom to tell others (like Bautista) to stop the cheerleading / attacking anyone criticizing him, which makes the situation worse and seem like he's being shielded by the business. "Getting ahead of the story" was key, but he failed to do that, being more concerned with not being held accountable (to the public). That says much.

Then what's Bautista's excuse? He's under contract too but he's mouthing off constantly.

Exactly--apparently, Bautista was free to run foul-mouthed defense for Gunn all along, with no repercussions (from Disney), which--as mentioned above--made it appear as if he was officially representing Gunn (or perhaps Dsiney while they weighed their options). Either way, Gunn and his personal defenders have never been on the right side of this.

The entire defense and post-presidency transformation of lifelong sexual predator Bill Clinton into a National Treasure flushes your ridiculous statement.

Further, it is apparent you are not aware of Representative Keith Ellison, who recently won in the primaries for Minnesota's attorney general--in the shadow of his ex-girlfriend (and her son) accusing him of physical and psychological abuse. He's a Democratic party darling, so there was no widespread party call for Ellison to drop out of the race. So much for your "liberals do toss people under the bus" fantasy. Call me when Ellison is forced out, or Clinton loses the cultural, political and media protection that has all but made him a living monument, and prevented him from ever seeing the inside of a cell decades ago.

Appear to WHO? Does anyone seriously think that Bautista "officially" represents Gunn?

Or Disney realizes they've fucked up and are trying to save as much face as possible. Gunn's script will likely still be used given how far into pre-production they are, he's still going to be paid for it and he's already signed onto a horror movie for Sony. So your "moral" crusade was a failure. You'll have to try again with someone else who pisses off Nazis.
