I saw the 9 minute trailer in the theater today. Those 9 minutes were more interesting than 2.5 hours of Hobbit. Hopefully the rest of the movie is just as good.

As an aside, the only part of the Hobbit that I liked was the Gollum. Screamingly funny stuff.

Even among those I've seen say they liked most or all of the movie, many have pointed to the "riddles" sequence as the part they liked best.

That's funny. It's the only point during the movie where I wanted to strangle myself with my wife's scarf.
