I think its gonna be sleeker than what we are seeing with the ones in this thread and the nacells are gonna look closer to what we have seen. Maybe round, but not retro and not JJ style.

The wireframe of the Defiant shows something that looks 95% like a TOS Constitution, including cylindrical nacelles (with fins) and a deflector dish with antenna(e). I think the ship will pretty much look like the TOS ship, updated for modern audiences.
No, it shared a basic shape, but didn't look much like the TOS ship other than vague shape. We also could not see the full profile. I don;t think people wanting a retro look are gonna be happy.

Personally I want to see a slightly updated 800 meter Connie that looks something like the mad koi ship with a better connecting dorsal.

There is going to be some serious fallout if the Connie we see is that big, I will be absolutely fine with it but some wont be.
I think it will look great but they will really need to up the detail on it for it to look right.
I'd be surprised if they changed the Connie size to be bigger than it's always been. Just an updated aesthetic.
Then they probably shouldn't have made all the new Disco ships so gigantic...

Yeah, they quite deliberately ignored the TOS writer's guide which said the Enterprise was "the largest man made vessel in space"
That just means there could be larger Vulcan or Tellarite-made ships in the Federation fleet.
The TOS size was always BS. Ship scale has never matched
None of the stuff fits. The bay wpuld never fit, the bridge fome changed size and so on. The dome was on top because IRL navy bridges are on top
Maybe by 2264, it will be the largest functioning ship in Starfleet?
