A third into S3 and I must say, this is MUCH better than I remember.

Though I found the fight/escape scenes in "That Hope Is You, Part I" to be unbelievable/Star Wars quality, and the Burnham truth drug comedy did not really land with me, the powerful ending was fantastic.

2nd ep was perfectly fine. Sweet rationale for Saru choosing Tilly. Georgiou comes good. I liked the Western cantina idea. The band is back together.

I found "People of Earth", "Forget Me Not", and "Die Trying" to all be very good to excellent. The return to Starfleet, the debrief, the crew dealing with their losses, Dora awakening, Earth's turn & the resolution there, the visit to Trill, Nahn's exit, and the looking up thing were all very well done.

The only real negatives were Burnham's continued insubordination & characters going out of their way to tell her how awesome she is. The latter did not really bother me that much, and Saru & Tilly turning her in was great.
