What exactly happened? Or is this one of those things we're discouraged from talking about?

I believe he got banned over, of all things, a Scott Pilgrim thread. The movie bombed and a lot of people were trying to rationalize it, and he started pissing on everyone for it. Things got out of hand and he pushing the envelope to the point where he was begging for a ban.

Yeah, I don't get it, either.

Yeah, I usually enjoyed his posts.

I kind of miss Mitchell, too. I remember that he would leave the board for months at a stretch in the summer and fall - he was a farmer, if memory serves - but I don't think he was here last winter, either.

The thing about him that made him stand out to me is that he'd use about 50 emoticons in every post, and yet for some reason I didn't find it annoying. It was almost endearing.
