I cherish my memories of Stewey's epic tenacity in bashing ENT despite never actually watching it.

If we're not allowed to insult anyone who can be lurking, that means we can't insult anyone at all! Including various political figures and people involved in TV and movie production who are denigrated on an hourly basis, if not more frequently!

Actually, I seem to recall Stewey tortured himself by watching it just to bash it, or at least claimed he did so. Poor guy...
He spent more time watching and posting about the show than even the biggest fans. Definitely not a "poor guy" as far as I'm concerned. In fact, he's the best example of why the block option was created.
I might get in trouble for saying this, but I find the likes of Red Quacker, Storm Rucker and Daystrom to be very entertaining, and do kind of miss them when they invariably "suddenly" vanish.
God, i've been here for 7 years, and it's amazing how many of these people i don't remember or even know.

IIRC, Daystrom got a bit of RL stalking of some members under his belt.
Red Quacker was fantastic at the time. I don't think he'd have the same impact now, but almost ten years back he was an impressive act.
Twain was another sharp-tongued bastard.
Bit melancholy how few of the real originals have been mentioned... guess they've been gone too long for most to remember.

There's no such rule. Ex-posters can be criticized and insulted. In this case it was just a matter of the entire thread being derailed with criticisms of ex-posters and a current mod.
We can't criticize the mods? That's not fair.
