Did you ever notice that... (DS9)

This is a "Never noticed that" thread for DS9 (doesn't have one yet). I'll start:
Found this while looking thru MA.

E'Tyshra's hair is done like Stella Mudd's. So was Stella a T'Lani?

Probably just a case of the designers for the DS9 episode happened to see a pic of Stella and liked the hairstyle.

Oh, by the way: If Stella turns up on DSC...Kathy Griffin. I totally called it. :p

When Garak and Worf fight in "Broken Link" they accidentally break a hatch open, and you can see outside the set.

I just noticed that I keep completely forgetting that Kai Winn was also Nurse Ratched. And Louise Fletcher is nothing if not distinct.

With Cardassians, sometimes you see the scales near the neck ridges coming loose. I know I saw that on Voyager with the Cardassian doctor, Crell Moset.

Yeah, Dukat definitely has one pop loose during a scene in Indiscretion. Thankfully you don't see the bare skin underneath, so I just pretend he's shedding a scale. ;)

The one that I can't not see is Garak during the opening scenes of The Die Is Cast, where his nose prosthetic isn't attached properly and moves every time he speaks.

Oh, and Rom in Little Green Men has his nose come loose from his forehead while speaking on board Quark's Treasure.

My favorite of these is when Dukat is getting abducted in "The Maquis, Part 1." He tries to get away, they phaser him in the back, they're dragging his unconscious body up into the docking port, and when they get to the steps, Marc Alaimo's feet start walking up them.

Some of these sound so gross, I almost barfed.
I kept reading though

Oh, man, she's probably too old for it but she'd be perfect.

Keep in mind that Mudd is probably drunk when he comes "home" to her, so his perception of her is colored by the way she looks to a bleary-eyed drunk and the way she reacts to him as such. Not saying she isn't a shrew anyway, but maybe she isn't quite as bad looking as he remembers her. Why did he get married in the first place?

Here's my idea - a space marriage like the ones Eve, Ruth and Magda were involved in - he got swindled. I wonder what Stella would look like if she had taken the Venus drug?

I was watching "The Nagus" the other day and noticed one of the screens in the School behind Miles (who is subbing as teacher) are the bad marionette aliens from "Catspaw"!

Here's another suggestion: Stella was rich when she and Harry got married. Stella hoped she could change Harry, and that worked out about as well as it usually does. What Harry didn't lose in crackpot investment schemes, he drank. Seeing Harry stay a petty criminal while her money disappeared made Stella shrewish.

I'll refrain from posting pictures of my ex "then" and "now." ;)

Seriously though, I'm not that shallow and we remain friends and parents of our sons.

Ha, you're right, that is them! I had to go to Netflix and look for that right away. That's a great catch.

Watching "Dax." The opening station log voiceover is an explanation of Colm Meaney's absence to film a movie -- "Chief O'Brien has escorted his wife back to earth to celebrate her mother's 100th birthday."

Rosalind Chao was 35 or 36 at the time. Her mom had her at age 64/65? Or did she just get caught in a Trek time vortex at some point?

I expect in Star Trek's time aging is a slower and more subtle process; Keiko could easily be 60 and look 35 or 36.

Good point... as I get later in the same episode, the Bajoran arbiter, played by a 59 year old actress, also identifies herself as a 100 years old.
