My brother, however, was an amatuer film-maker and quite good at it, too. But even in his movies I always preferred behind-the-scenes work, too. Acting isn't easy.
I'd imagine acting in film is the easiest. Compared to even TV, where you're working all the time with different directors and little time to examine the script.
I can't imagine how hard it must be for stage and theatre actors. Now *that* would be intense. No chance to re-shoot, low pay, little recognition, highly competetive. And lots of memorizing and improvisation. Wow.
