Spoilers DC's Legends of Tomorrow Season 5

The actress who plays Astra looks a lot like the Charlie actress which was very confusing for someone like me who has missed a few episodes. I kept asking why Charlie wanted Constataine dead. :)

A couple of observations:

1) Whoa. What's the story with Charlie/Clotho's outrageous new look? And why was this not commented on by any of the characters.
Yeah, I was a little surprised they didn't acknowledge the new look when she first showed up.

Weird to watch this right after seeing Apokolips War. Going from Constataine taking on Darkseid to a dog.
I’m getting used to this show as I knew it was the dog from the start. They’re going to have to try hard to trick me. :)

It was pretty easy to guess that the dog was the culprit. I mean, assuming it wasn't Astra, that left only Lita and the dog as new elements onboard, and the title was "Ship Broken" so that pointed toward the dog. But at first I was leaning toward it being innocent doggie mischief wreaking accidental destruction, and then I was thinking it was a shapeshifter (which it was, but not in the way I thought).

Why did Sara wear a blindfold? She had no reason to hide her eyes from the others, since they all knew she was blinded. I guess they did it so Caity Lotz didn't have to wear the contact lenses more than necessary, but then, why not just use one of those pairs of dark glasses the others all had on? I guess maybe she was trying to evoke the sense memory of her blindfold training in the League, or something. It was still weird, though.

Reading the opening credits, it struck me how many women are in the cast now. With Brandon Routh gone, the first six names in the cast list are all female, with Nick Zano and Dominic Purcell added on at the end and Matt Ryan as a permanent "special guest."

I kept going back and forth between Mick's daughter and the dog the whole time.
So apparently Sara survived seeing Atropos's true form because she's a Paragon. I was a little surprised that we had that actually come back into the plot, I figured we'd never hear about it again now that Crisis was over.
I'm starting to wonder if perhaps this stuff with Sarah is leading up to her becoming Fate and helping Charlie with the Loom.
I did kind of laugh at how quick Mick's daughter was to start plotting all the ways to use the Waverider to make money. Looks like maybe she does have a bit of her father in her after all.

Charlie didn't specifically say that being the Paragon of Destiny was the reason she'd survived seeing a god's true form; rather, she said that both of those things meant that Sara's future visions were the real thing. It's not that B was the cause of A, but that A and B were both the causes of C. That doesn't rule out her survival being Paragon-related, but it doesn't clearly confirm it either.

Makes sense. They need three, and Astra's already in training to replace Lachesis. Sara's a credible substitute for Atropos; not only is Destiny kind of the same thing as Fate, but Atropos is basically an assassin.

Sarah is technically 15 billion years old.

She's older than most gods.

Also she banged the being who created the Prime Universe.

I wonder if Mary also got super powers from getting jiggy with god?

Gary is always a win! :bolian:
Zari/Tala Ashe crushes it always!! :adore:

Astra, Sarah & Charlie could definitely could do be the key with the Loom of Fate.

Yeah, Sarah, Charlie, and Astra seem perfect to be the Fates. Maybe too perfect? What are the odds on a swerve here? Instead of Astra, Lita or Zari? (It would crack me up if it ended up being Nate for some reason.) I mean, it's Legends, after all. ;)

Micks' daughter

I'm kind of amazed they haven't made Adam Tsekhman a regular yet. Gary's been in pretty much every episode lately, and he's been a pretty big driving force for a few of the episodes now.

There have been a number of regular supporting characters in the Arrowverse who are billed as special guests rather than main cast, presumably for budgetary reasons. Even Matt Ryan is technically a "Special Appearance" cast member.

Is he a special guest star? I thought he was guest star?
EW.com has posted a new interview with Nate actor Nick Zaro about tomorrow nights, college party themed episode.
Sounds like Shotgun Nick should be pretty fun.
I'm not at all surprised to hear the actors spend so much time trying to crack each other up. As much fun as they seem to be having onscreen, I can only imagine how much fun they have offscreen.

Fun episode but I really miss Ray, he had so much chemistry with everyone.
And can Mick stop smilling, he is freaking me out!
