Spoilers DC's Legends of Tomorrow - Season 4

That's one way to get the actor back without actually having him physically there, I'm sure he wouldn't mind doing VO for a one off episode.

That's assuming the puppet speaks

Holy fuck, Brandon Routh just lost years of goodwill I had built up toward him in 3 seconds. I think I retroactively now hate Superman Returns (as opposed to just finding it mediocre). Also, good job reminding me that the show killed one of its only remaining good characters last year. Why not have Snart in there too, to really pour salt on the wound for people who really enjoyed Season 1.

This show is lucky Arrow exists, so that it is only the second most vile pile of shit superhero show CW is making (at least until The Flash takes back second place, or Batwoman comes out and inevitably sucks).

What did he do? Was it the Brony thing? You do realize he doesn't write the show, right?

Yeah, but some things are so bad they just ruin the actor in general. I still legitimately can't watch a movie with Michael Caine without instinctively hating him, because he played the worst Alfred in the history of Batman adaptations. It wasn't his fault, but I can only see him as the only Alfred that not only didn't support Bruce, but abandoned him. In the same way, Routh is now just a shitty Brony joke in a terrible TV show. As if that stupid blue bear wasn't degrading enough to everyone involved with that show (meaning the actors and the lobotomized lemurs hired to write and produce the show).

Sounds like a "you" problem.

There is something seriously wrong with you, Beebo is amazing. The Beebo vs Mallus fight in last season's finale is literally one of my favorite TV moments ever. The LoT aren't lobotomized lemurs, they're friggin geniuses.

Listen, I don't care if people like it. People liking kids things at an older age doesn't bother me. But in a show that is presumably not made for toddlers the blue monkey was moronic, and the people responsible for it shouldn't be allowed to get the coffee for people with actual writing ability. Either that or they should go back to the Disney jr channel where they presumably come from. Instead, we have stuffed animal fights, and Brony jokes 5 years after they were relevant (while also making the characters and actors seem like complete jackasses).

The only thing LoT has is that every season past S1 is godawful for a different reason. Season 2 fucked the JSA and destroyed the concept of the show while also introducing terrible characters (and actors, give me Vandal savage or hawkman's actors over "Steel" or fake Vixen any day), Season 3 killed off one of the best characters while ruining all the other living original LoT characters except Mick, and now season 4 is completing the show's transformation into an absolute farce that would be for three year olds if the network didn't demand a bit of action suitable for people who are old enough to read.

LoT had a great premise, and a very fun first season. every season past that the writers have gotten worst or been replaced, and all the characters that are left are husks with no relation to the real versions except for Mick, who I think survives solely on the strength of his actor. At this point the show probably only exists because someone feels too sorry for the cast to fire them. Hopefully the piece of shit show dies after this season, since I doubt CW wants to keep filing its schedule with nothing but DC so something should be going pretty soon. While Arrow is a worse show now, I'd rather it stays and LoT goes. At least Arrow kind of has a point.

The MCU has room for the Guardians of the Galaxy, the World's of DC has room for Shazam, the X-Men Cinematic Universe has room for Deadpool, and the Arrowverse has room for the Legends of Tomorrow. These stories, as much as we all love and revere them, are silly at their core. There's nothing wrong with embracing the silliness.

Yep. I love the Legends silliness.

You need to grow up

He didn't write the line, why would you blame him for something he didn't do?
What is wrong with you?

Shit dude, you really need to develop a fucking sense of humor and stop taking this shit so seriously.

LoT is not a comedy or a farce, none of the CW shows are. It used to be a show with great characters going through time and stopping bad guys. Now its about a bunch of fucking assholes (and Mick) being useless shits and dragging as many useless shitheads as possible through literally the stupidest crap ever done in a DC based production. The real show, season 1, had stakes snd wasn't obsessed with being a "comedy" for sugar addled 4 year olds. The Adam West Batman would look at this show and suggest it should take things more seriously.

Even fucking Deadpool wouldn't do something like the blue teddy bear. Don't try to compare an insulting piece of shit like LoT to a great movie series like Deadpool or GotG. GotG specifically is never a farce, there is a core of seriousness with all the comedy which is why you care for the characters, unlike the shitheads on LoT (outside of Mick, who is still good) who could die and no one would care because they're just one dimensional husks used for "jokes". Also, Shazam is the biggest abomination ever made by DC, so I suppose LoT is kind of the Tv version of that.

Also, superheroes are not silly at their core. That's the opinion of someone too good for them, the kind of people that claim they are somehow inferior to artsy shit (like people who say Black
Panther shouldn't get an oscar even though a terrible, worthless Fish Fucking movie got best picture last year).

He didn't write the line, why would you blame him for something he didn't do?

It taints the actor in my mind. Like I said, Michael Caine didn't make the shitty Nolan Batman movies, but every time I see his face I just see Alfred being a fucking asshole. Now, all I see with Routh is him making Brony jokes half a decade past their relevance and generally being a shithead.

You really need to learn to separate fiction from reality.
