I'd definitely like to see more superheroics on the show. Are they trying to save money?
How dare you, sir! Gary's mind is far too daft and tangled to be wiped for more than a few hours by a mere handheld memory beam! And how did they restore Gary's memory? Is this the first mention of that effect being reversible? And how did he know to go back to the Bureau if he'd forgotten who he was?
Though I thought for sure Constantine was going to give the Mexican wrestler some sort of temporary magic power-up to put him on an even playing field with Kaupe. Matt Ryan's performance is growing on me, but I wish his magic usage was a bit more frequent and weirder, a la Doctor Strange in Ragnarok. But I guess he's a demon hunter specifically, not all-around wizard?
The one thing I will admit to with Legends, is the characters never using their powers anymore. There are a lot of situations where you would expect people like Nate to use his powers, or Ray to use his suit, but they rarely did. At times it almost felt like the writers have forgotten the characters even are superheroes. I still love the show, but it would be nice if they put at least a bit more superheroics in more of the episode.
^^^Season premiere Jan. 21
It will be off Jan 28 for the Arrow finale preview/ Arrow series finale and return the week after.
^^^
IMO - that's a bit of stupid scheduling on the CW's part IMO -- Hey, let's start the show's run - pre-empt it the very next week, and then let it run the following week...and no, not everyone is a fan of both (I am not. I'm just watching the last Season of Arrow because of it's seemingly direct tie ins leading to the COIE 'event'. (YMMV)![]()
The crossover is the week before, on January 14th. The official LoT season premiere is on the 21st, then preempted for the final episode of Arrow on the 28th.Keep in mind that the crossover installments are often episodes of their specific shows in name only, or rather as a function of which production team handles them and where they fall in the broadcast schedule rather than what their stories are about. For instance, Crisis on Earth-X Part 1 was technically a Supergirl episode, but you'd never know it because it centered on Barry & Iris's wedding.
So I'm sure the same will be true here. The LoT "season premiere" will be more part of CoIE than an LoT episode per se, and the LoT season proper won't really begin until episode 2.
Other shows stop may stop and ask, “Why?” Legends Of Tomorrow, though, asks the far more potent, “Why the fuck not?”
Having just watched the S4 finale, all I can say is, I sincerely hope that Brett Dalton plays one of next season's escaped evil souls, and that at some point, he meets the Legends, and mutters, "great, another bunch of weirdos."
Oh, and another thing: unlike Arrow and Flash, I didn't ditch this series halfway through its fourth season! While those series got repetitive and stale, Legends continues to innovate and impress. That said, if Tala Ashe doesn't immediately re-appear and continue on as a series regular, I will indeed have to wonder if this whole multiverse is worth saving at all.

Case rested.
I love them.Better then the irritating garry and mona, they should ditch those two
Agreed. Adam Tsekhman (Gary) is almost certainly the most talented and versatile comic actor of the lot, and quite possibly the most talented actor overall. Ramona Young (Mona) plays her awkward-but-determined note quite well, though I haven't seen much evidence of range from her.Gary and Mona are great fun.
