I believe in syndication 6 million dollar man and Bionic Woman shared their 2 part crossover episodes.
I greatly prefer Leo Snart to the version we saw last season in the Legion of Doom. He was just a one note bad guy.
I think the weakest link was the Earth X resistance. They should have made Earth X's Guardian more central to the storyline (rather than killing him after a quick fight), and he should have been the one to defeat Dark Arrow. Alternatively, they could have put General Winn in the Guardian suit (taking over after James died) and have him be the one to take out the fuhrer.
But, in the real world, the Earth-X Resistance don't have their own TV show and are not the stars of the current shows, so, of course, the Big Bads are going to be defeated by Supergirl, the Flash, Green Arrow, and the Legends, because these are not episodes of THE RAY or THE GUARDIAN or THE FREEDOM FIGHTERS.![]()
I was surprised how different the general seemed from Winn.I totally didn't recognize Felicity with brown hair. Took me a lot more than a few seconds.
He misses his pal Mick, and wants to try and help him and gain closure.. Although I wish Leo had given some explanation for his decision to "stick around" on Earth-1.
I know that when NCIS: Los Angeles and Hawaii Five-0 on CBS crossed over, and I believe whenever the Chicago shows on NBC cross over, the DVD boxsets include the entire crossover event. What are they going to do in syndication and home video?
I felt that they should have at least given Dark Archer's body to the Ray to take home as a war trophy to inspire the Resistance.
Yeah, and why didn't the Ray take some time onscreen to visit his family? It looks like they've found a way to keep Wentworth Miller around in the Arrowverse for a while longer, anyway. Although I wish Leo had given some explanation for his decision to "stick around" on Earth-1.
I thought it was made clear when Thawne left, and he and Kara had a chat. Something Kara mentioned made me sure of it. I don't remember the line that made it clear, but she wouldn't have been badmouthing Hitler while caring about his commitment to the fatherland as much if he wasn't. I also thought I it seemed to make sense if he was a mayor with a secret identity on Earth-1, he would be fuhrer with a secret identity on Earth-X.So, Oliver is the fuhrer? That could have been made clearer in the first two episodes.
I just finished with the whole thing. There's definitely a lot to nitpick and plot holes and all that. Some of the dialog was a little iffy, and so was the acting at times. And yet, I don't think it's possible to sit and watch four consecutive hours of TV and be more entertained.
And the Legends part was pretty brutal. I damn near started bawling.
Franz Drameh absolutely nailed it. Powerful stuff.I don’t watch legends but Garber and especially the guy who played Jefferson did a hell of a job. I almost got emotional.
That was a definite gap in the backstory. My personal theory is that in Earth-X's history, the League of Assassins went public and integrated into the Nazi power structure. Ra's al Ghul succeeded Hitler, Oliver was his protégé, and thus Oliver became incumbent führer.Edit: How could a man like Oliver Queen be the Fuhrer on Earth X? All that was established was that he was a skilled fighter and archer, but there was no background on how he rose to power. And the Nazis were Nazis - they were about Aryan superiority and all that stuff. Part of me was expecting a different take on them, like Khan Noonien Singh.
Biggest surprise was Thawne saying he has fought Superman in the future. I wonder if they have any intention of following that up? Doubtful given the limited appearances Superman has.
