Maybe so, but in this image they're the same color as her face which is a bit confusing.

There's always the question, with this and other female superhero outfits - would any attractive woman with a sense of style be caught dead in this?

I'd rather see some darker blue on Superman's outfit, but that's an idiosyncratic preference; he really looks fine. The "s" in the shield is slightly simplified, but not so much as in the first piece of Lee art.

What are the odds of Power Girl getting a book, do you reckon?

Books that we haven't heard anything of yet include Justice Society of America, the Zatanna solo title, Secret Six, and Power Girl. I think chances are good for Power Girl to continue in her own title, although I suppose they might just make use of her in a JSA book.

Do we even know that there *is* a modern JSA in this new universe?

They might decide that they don't exist in the modern period and are only active during the golden age and the War.

Aside from the color scheme. Occam's razor suggests that these are both Connor (as neither one appears to be Clark and so there'd be a third, rather than second, Superboy being introduced). The art is certainly peculiar, though.

Cant say enough bad things about the look of the new Superman costume. Horrid boots, Terrible Belt, Whats with all the seams in the costume? Just Blah.

Clark was never Superboy in the post-Crisis retcon and I doubt they'll go back to the pre-Crisis situation where he was Superboy before becoming Superman.

I'm glad to hear that they haven't dredged up old Clark-as-Superboy in the comics - I'm always afraid they'll do that.

Nonetheless, there's Clark and there's Connor - this guy would be number 3, and he just happens to look like the guy who everyone calls "Superboy" these days. So I'm assuming it's Connor.

The boots and belt are fine - I wouldn't have thought of making it red, but that does give the outfit more unity while being sort of a call-back to the missing trunks.

I don't like Superboy's redesign. A tattoo on his shoulder instead of on his...clothes? That's lame.

I dunno, lots of folks have tattoos these days. Kind of makes sense.

I see guys who have Superman and Batman shield tattoos almost every day.

I'm one of them. 1940s S-sheild — red S with black background and yellow border trim — on my left bicep, and the 1940s-style bat — as done by Bruce Timm for the later Batman cartoons — on my right.

So I like the tat on Superboy, but the rest of his outfit and the way he is drawn is something cobbled together from discards from a fighter-based manga.

Superman is a big interest for me...Supergirl, somewhat. Superboy, not so much.

Action and Supes. Those two titles have been stagnant for the past few years, and I'm looking forward to them being reinvigorated.

As for Supes new outfit, not bad and better than it looked in Lee's drawing. I'm not to hip on the collar tho' or the red belt. Also, there was a fan redesign that floated about that had the "red trunks" more as a triangular color patch on the unibody suit to break up the blue, but it was far from outer underwear.

I'm sure the design will be refined as time goes on, as will everyone else's costumes.

I really dig Supergirl's outfit tho'. Now there's a woman who has seen tons of outfit redesigns over the years. Remember her 80s grab complete with an Olivia Newton John-style hand band.

Female superheroes always seem to have the fashion sense of strippers.

Yeah, these costumes will keep on changing. There will always be a strong pull to go back to the "traditional" Superman outfit for periods of time, I'm sure. Does Spider-Man still alternate his red/blue and black outfits like he did for a few years? There's no reason - especially given the variant explanations for what Supes' outfit is made of, these days - that he shouldn't have several.

I'm glad that they're finally changing up Superman's costume again (it settled down for the most part in the 1950s) - there are changes they could make that I'd dislike (say, losing the cape) but varying the boots and belt aren't among them.

I don't understand the armor plating on superman's outfit. I like that his belt looks like it can store stuff - like his glasses and pocky. I don't get the boots.

I don't like supergirl's bare legs but since she's invulnerable - why not show them? Long sleeves with bikini bottoms? I dunno but I've seen gymnasts like that. I kind of like the collared cape.

Some asked how supergirl keeps her bikini area tidy - just like Superman keeps his face clean I imagine - heat vision and a mirror and LOADS of concentration.

My City of Heroes character is pretty much covered and modest without being prudish. I don't see how its so hard for DC to figure it out.

I have no problem with the basic redesign. I just think the details of the boots and belt look bad. They need some rework. Maybe if they had kept the belt gold and the boots red without the armor banding.

I don't know that those lines represent armor plating. They're simply segments or seams.
