MoS/BvSUlitmate/SnyderCut has some of the best Superman stuff out there.
I actually looking forward to Black Adam the most this year. The Rock and Pierce Brosnan in one movie? That can’t be bad.
Much is made about original release date of The Flash. But think all the stuff in that time - DC and from other studios, that are announced and are in endless development hell and might never get made. Some outright cancelled.
I agree. Those versions make a great trilogy.
Looks like The Batman will be the last D.C movie I go see this year.
I couldn't possibly disagree more, but I do agree that Cavil still deserves a shot.
Seems people just seem to say that about Superman, though, at least, most audibly. There's always naysayers for any casting, but years down the road, people seem fine with most of the other characters except to this day Snyder's Superman.
Honestly? Depends on who you hang around with and talk to.
As humans, we tend to hang out with people we have a common ground with. Most of the superhero/comic fans I'm close with LOVE Cavill's and Snyder's take on Superman.
Oh, absolutely, I see that. I'm saying in general, if you search for negative things about any of the portrayals, the majority is on Superman, very few if any on the other listed characters.
I read "This is not Superman" 100 times for every "This is not Flash" (which I honestly doubt I've ever read).
Me too, but its release has been moved to next year.I am actually still quite excited about the Flash.

I think the biggest misstep by the MCU is the decanonization of agents of shield and the inhumans storyline.

In an interview I read a couple weeks ago, Matt Reeves, the director & co-writer of The Batman, was asked about Superman, and he didn't totally rule it out. He said they would just need to find a way to make their Superman fit in the more grounded world they've created.Never gonna happen.
I saw that. I view it as a polite answer in the vein of “never say never” but with no serious consideration of the idea. Without a doubt. Cavill's Superman was the far and away best version of this era, and easily one of the top two live action Superman portrayals. ...and yes he deserves a sequel. I believed Cavill did have one additional film in his contract, so that would be a chance to see another great chapter in the DCEU.
It isn’t confirmed but it is highly rumoured. I assumed it would have already been brought up on this thread.
The tweet is gone already...Update on the rumor. Affleck's Batman at this point in time might actually survive
