GOD DAMMIT. I had FINALLY forgotten that movie and you... YOU... drag it back into my brain. DAMMIT.
Think of it this way, his experience acting in that movie told him exactly how NOT to make his own.

It occurs to me that if DC had wanted to go outside the box, they could've chosen not to use Darkseid and the New Gods of Apokolips as their "Bigger Bad" character seeing how the MCU was already onto Thanos by the time the DCEU started.
They could've chosen an even more powerful villain and surprised everyone with the choice.

I have to admit, I've been intrigued by the It movies, and this might just be the push I need to rent the first one from Amazom Prime, and then go see Ch. 2 at the theater this weekend.
