DC Movies - To Infinity and Beyond

A piece of set dressing from Batgirl reveals that Keaton's Batman got a Robin at some point

Not really a reveal, because we saw it happen in Batman Forever.
Leslie Grace tweeted a pic of her in the Batgirl costume:

Don't really like the color scheme.

I don't think Batgirl '67 was supposed to be a stealthy creature of the night.

But she was not costumed like Robin, either. Even as the black bodysuit turned to dark gray in her early 70s solo stories in Detective, she--like Batman--had longer cape & "bat ears" on the cowl and as far as characterization went, she was more in the vein of Batman than Robin at that time.

That outdoor mural appears to be updated. Clearly what we originally saw was just for the basic layout. Now aged and covered with Graffiti. It never mattered what the finer details were for Batman or Robin. If was going to be largely covered up. My father painted outdoor advertising. So I know a bit about this. I guess they did not want to do the graffiti and aging indoors. So not to damage or waste paint in transport. Also to match outdoor lighting to look best on camera. From other location pictures it’s Christmas time in Gotham. Notice the fake snow and ice. Not surprising they did not come with completed mural to the location. They had to add a lot environmental details. Having a finished painting at the start it easily could have been damaged.

Biggest addition. It looks like Michael Keaton now. Robin is still there but very hard to see now. His face has red graffiti plus above salt stains dripping down.

Joss Whedon has decided to embark on a (hopefully doomed) career saving campaign but hilariously only makes himself look worse in the process. People can read it in detail for themselves but the one that made me laugh the most was him claiming that Gal Gadot didn't understand he was only "joking" when he threatened her because English isn't her first language.

Whedon's hack ass is a walking symbol of the kind of abuses the entertainment industry has been accused of for most of its existence, and like so many in that field, he's completely unrepentant.

And also this part

Joss Whedon had a secret affair with Erin Shade, who worked as an assistant on "Agents of Shield"

Separately, the New York profile reports on Erin Shade who was a showrunner’s assistant on Whedon’s co-created ABC series Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., saying that the content creator engaged her in a secret relationship, he being 49 to her then 23. This entailed paying her $2,5K to watch him write at his home over the weekend, as long as she remained quiet about the affair from her bosses. Whedon told New York, he “should have handled the situation better.”

I'm amazed Avengers 1 and 2 went off without a hitch/scandal

Or, the cast and crew of those productions could be tight-lipped. Considering his abusive behavior across most of his career, one would have a difficult time believing he stopped being a despicable freak on a couple of films, then pick up where he left off on post-Avengers work.

Love the Batgirl costume.
Hopefully, in-universe, her experience will lead her to modify the costume to be more in line with the filmed Batman costumes of this century. Even the CW-Batwoman suit makes more sense than this.
I sure hope not, I'm glad to see them finally adding some color to the DC movies, and I'd hate to see them go back to everything constantly being as dark as possible.
Her recent comics have been fairly bright and colorful, so it's not like doing this is going against on long standing element of the comics.
Whedon has his work cut out for him since his position seems to be "I did bad stuff but it wasn't as bad as they say" and that he doesn't seem repentant.
Yeah, and insulting Ray Fisher, and going off about how he doesn't take notes from anyone, even Robert Downey Jr., doesn't exactly help his image.
