I've been said to resemble my mother but I don't see it.

The main reason I don't wear a beard is that it would make me look way too much like my father, except for still having all my hair. My cousin thinks I look like our grandfather around the eyes.

Yes. I’ve cited before the observation (cribbed from somewhere long forgotten) that if you worked in an office, and somebody in your office looked exactly like Brad Pitt, no sane person would default to thinking it’s actually Brad Pitt, unaccountably masquerading as your coworker. You’d just figure it was a crazy resemblance.

If they looked like Brad Pitt and their job involved them writing multiple newspaper articles about Brad Pitt then I bet people might start to seriously question it.
