I love the scene with the boy raising the flag in the middle of a warzone, and Superman protecting the little girl. Also, Krypto is adorable.

I may eventually end up enjoying this version somewhat, but after watching the trailer my gut is telling me that Gunn probably should have stuck to the MARVEL universe.
It may be just my crotchety old age and growing up with both the 1950's TV & 1978 movie versions that make this one seem 'off' for some reason.
The actor They chose is putting off more of a SUPERBOY feeling to me than SUPERMAN.
I don't know, maybe that is the goal Gunn is going for.

Yep, it's John Williams's Superman '78 theme.
Huh. How . . . um . . . I don't know what to say. Is the movie utilizing Chris Reeve's take on Clark Kent? Gunn is the sole screenwriter for this film. Right?
I will admit when Superman was lying in the snow and whistled, I knew what to expect, but I still Squeeed when Krypto showed up.
Media is devolving right before our eyes.
We used to have standards when making movies, those aren't applicable anymore.
Guy Gardner, HawkGirl, Mr. Terrific all look like cosplayers than actual superheroes.
And this Superman suit is the ugliest iteration yet on any media.

No one's even visiting that particular video shrine these days other than the Snyderoids who bark on social media. So, no surprises there.

I haven't seen a Superhero film in a long time (Superhero Fatigue and just lost interest), but I just saw the Superman Trailer and that was fantastic. That might get me back to the theater. Just hearing a modern version of the Superman theme gives me a little goosebump.
I knew when I posted that the "Spectre" joke was inevitable, but I was undeterred.

Great version. It was almost like a hybrid of Superman and Top Gun
I could hear a little of that in the trailer, specifically the style they used for Top Gun Maverick.
