Daredevil season 3 Marvel/Netflix

So this is further support for the idea that Disney may not want to lend out many new characters to Netflix. Well, maybe not support precisely, but it fits in well with that idea.
I've pretty much been assuming from the moment they announced Disney Play that we wouldn't be seeing any more new Netflix shows.

As if he can tell what he looks like!

That's a very ignorant and mean-spirited thing to say. Even in real life, unsighted people have plenty of ways to tell the difference between different articles of clothing by texture, structure, labels, etc. They're blind, not stupid. And it's long since been established in the comics that Matt Murdock's sense of touch is so acute that he can feel the subtle difference in composition between different color dyes, their differences in warmth based on the light they absorb/reflect, that sort of thing.

Even leaving aside the dye thing (which hasn't been referenced in decades and doesn't make much sense), let's also keep in mind that Matt used to be able to see. This means he's capable of picturing what things look like based on past experience.

And anyone can choose what color their clothes are by asking a clerk/tailor for a desired color, or ordering it online.

As for the dye thing, I'm not sure the comics' explanation made sense, but as I said, I could imagine Matt being able to sense lightness or darkness by the difference in warmth, since darker things would absorb more light energy and thus feel warmer.

Huh, that is odd. Most people regard Daredevil the highest (aside from the first season of Jessica Jones), not the other way around. Especially in comparison to Iron Fist.
I agree. I think it's odd too. The reason I think they overlook Daredevil is that it's a guy in a costume compared to Jessica Jones, Luke Cage being just people with powers. They are missing out but that's the way they went.

Wow...so, missing the point of Matt's powers and history completely.
Oh good grief. Of course I know about Matt's senses, and of course I know that blind people aren't bumbling fools.

You people need to lighten up. It was a joke about Daredevil picking a costume. And certainly not the first one, Marvel have done those gags themselves.

Hi....larious.

I don't care what Marvel has done. It wasn't funny before, isn't funny now, and demonstrates insensitivity to an actual population of people.

Good point. It really is amazing the level of talent that Marvel has managed to draw into their shows and movies.
