Damn! It's hot!

It was 115 in Hollywood earlier ... down to 105 here in Burbank/Glendale ... still ... I'll take it over humidity any day of the week!

Damn, it was in the 50s here today! I really hope we don't move to California.
Heh heh heh. Roast Kestra.

Seriously, though, this is only one part of a pretty big place with pretty varied geography. There are parts of the state where you'll very likely never see that kind of heat. In Monterey, it barely made 80 today and in Eureka it didn't even break 70.

Yeah, my sister moved to San Diego and from what I hear, it's more reasonable there. I'll be visiting her in December so I'm sure I'll appreciate warmer weather at that point!

For once, LA is hotter than Fresno!!! I believe Downtown broke their records with 113 F. It's hard to believe Torrance (a beach area, for those unfamiliar) broke 100 F. So strange.

We only got to 101 F today. Tomorrow's supposed to be 103 F, with Wednesday at 104 F. Last week, it mostly stayed under 90 all week. Here I was, 86 F and wearing a sweater in the evening because it felt "cool."

Very true. Remember California from northern to southern border is about 900 miles. Lots of micro-environments.

I just got back from a business trip to Eureka. It was actually gorgeous up there. Bright, sunny, high-60's. Too bad its...you know...Eureka.

Supposed to be 102 here today.

All summer long (since probably April) it's been in the 100s or high 90s until two days ago. Right now, I'm actually cold! It was in the mid-50s the last two mornings, and it won't get higher than about 75 or 80.

I think Summer for us started in early September. It was pretty cool from June to August, but now it's gotten hot. I hope it cools down by the end of the week and it's good to have it hot a few times, but this is the 5th straight day of this.

Warmish. The average is in the mid-60s. But I remember Christmases where it was in the low 70s and sunny.

It's getting all cold and autumn-y in northern Germany right now - I wish it was winter already, I don't like the fall season :/

Aren't you in Sacramento? I thought the city melted at 90?

No, not all. In fact, this has been the coolest summer I can remember since moving here. It was really noticeable.

Usually, it is well above 100 in the summer. It's gotten over 110 on many occasions.

Yesterday was the one of the hottest days of the year. It was around 104.
