Ricky and Mike J. Fox?! Awesome! :techman:

Looks terrific. Season seven was great. As far as I'm concerned, this show could run for another seven years, as long as the level of comedy continues.

Awesome. Glad to see it moving forward. Last season was epic. Maybe he can shoot around some of the classic Seinfeld locations.

I've only seen a handful of episodes since its started syndication this year (saw the Seinfeld reunion ep the other night). The half hour, though, is at least 10 minutes of adverts so I don't know how much I'm actually seeing. What I've seen of it is wonderful but I got a long way to go.

Don't know if you saw the last reunion themed episode, but there was more than one of them, as the seinfeld reunion was an arc last season. I think there were 6 episodes dealing with that and making it happen.

I would suggest renting the DVDs. Eight minutes (or more, sometimes they went a little long) of cuts is a lot of material missed. And although cutting language from most shows is no big loss, not being able to see the full f-word laden rants that Suzie unloads on Larry and Jeff is really missing something. They are quite achievements in profanity.

Let's hope Richard Lewis and Marty Funkhouser turn up in NY, too.

I can't imagine what censored versions of the episodes (moreover, heavily edited--you're losing eight minutes from the shortest episodes of the series, and many run longer than 28 minutes). Get the DVDs.

When I saw the end of season 6 I thought that was a great end to the series. I was actually surprised when it returned.

Yeah, it surprised me too. Didn't they have him die at the hospital? The funny thing is, I couldn't find any mention of that on the official site once season 7 started. It's like they erased all the evidence that it even happened. Did they ever explain why he wasn't dead?

That was at the end of season five, in the episode "The End." And, no, he doesn't die. He ascends to heaven and a couple of grouchy angels (one of them played by Dustin Hoffman) don't want to deal with him, so they send Larry back.

That's my rough memory of it, anyway. The long and short of it being that Larry was always alive at the end of season five.

Wow, ok then. Looks like I got mixed up in my seasons. What happened at the end of 6? Oh wait, I see. That's the season where they introduced the Blacks. For some reason I thought The End was the last episode of that season and I thought that was their way to try to wrap things up and why it took so long to get Season 7 going.

For a while, people thought season five would be the end of the series, but then Larry David decided he had more ideas in him.

The seasons come so irregularly because Larry David is Larry David, and HBO let's him do whatever he wants. Seriously, has anyone else had the level of creative freedom he enjoys? Not only can he explore topics that would be insanely taboo on any other show, but episodes of CURB can literally be whatever length he wants them to be.
