Crazy Ex-Girlfriend - Season 3

"It contains the strongest protein known to man: ant-protein."
"Is that true?"
"I have no idea. But I do know ants are strong as hell."

The reveal of Rebecca's grand plan was fantastic.

Rebecca's back and crazy as ever. Loved her big reveal in the conference room. I wonder if the budget for the show has increased because the size of the big "Where's Rebecca Bunch" number made me think about it. Lets Generalize About Men was great.

I missed the customized opening. I heard Rachel on a podcast say that there would be a new one for this season. Maybe next week. I got the feeling Rebecca's heart may not be into really hurting Josh.

^ She sent him her poop. Anyone who doesn’t want to hurt someone wouldn't do THAT.
Well, sending him her poop could only be viewed as a short term, one off kind of revenge. But when Valencia suggested filing a lawsuit, Rebecca seemed a bit reluctant to go along with that idea, possibly because it could have much longer term affects. I don'i know, we'll see.

I think Rebecca can't get excited about the lawsuit thing because it's not crazy or dramatic enough. A lawsuit is a boring, quasi-sensible, grown-up way to get revenge. Rebecca doesn't do sensible. She needs crazy.

I loved all the musical numbers SO much! Rebecca and Nathaniel parodying Fifty Shades Of Grey was fun.

Rebecca mirrored Paula’s song from season one, very fitting. Now Josh knows all her secrets. He’s still a bonehead. Priest school?

I’m not feeling the new opening song. It just isn’t as catchy as the previous ones.

Nice little twiat having what Rebecca really want from Josh turn out to be simply the opportunity to tell him off in church in her wedding dress and in front of a congregation. Slightly crazy, yes, but totally appropriate. And she sent him her poop anyway. So Rebecca telling Josh that she made out with Nathaniel is the reason Josh felt he no longer needed to feel guilty, right?

The storyline about Jim's wife and her orgasm was great, especially Paula leaving the poor guy wondering still if his marriage might still be in trouble. Jim was a surprisingly good singer too.

Liked the songs. I'll have to watch the opening theme again. Didn't make much of an impression. Okay, I thought the song Rebecca sang to Josh sounded familiar.

I think Rebecca telling him all the crazy things she’s done to be with him, is what doesn’t make him feel guilty.

Exactly. Josh can now justify dumping Rebecca, as well as any bad decisions on his part, on the grounds that "Look at her, she's crazy! It was all her fault. I'm not the bad guy here . .. I just dodged a bullet!"

That isn’t to say that Josh doesn’t have his own problems. Regardless of how crazy she is, standing up Rebecca on their wedding day was bad. Thinking that becoming a priest would solve everything was bad. Jumping from relationship to relationship (Valencia, Rebecca, Anna, Rebecca again) was bad. Josh needs to do some growing up.

I really liked Rebecca talking to her inner younger self.

So Heather is afraid of growing up. Can a person really take every course at a university or college? Seems a bit weird.

I was surprised that Josh’s friends who have known him since forever would actually believe that article. I felt bad for him.

I loved Heather's "inspirational" ballad. There was something very meta (and appropriate) about her rolling her eyes at just how sappy the song was at that the same time that plot required her to sing it . . .

Heather may be a lot older than she seems, if she's taken every course at the college.

Heather may be in her 50s.

Her secret to a youthful everything, is to never smile.

How long does it take for a parcel to reach it's destination?

4 days to a week?

Her poop may not have arrived yet.

Or worse yet...

What if Rebbecca's poop was sent to a "preschool" by mistake?

My vision is usually split between my browser and my media player, so sometimes unfortunately, I miss stuff that's clear as day.

Greg's dad.

This I did not miss.

:)

I wish the season had premiered a week earlier so this episode could’ve been shown in October. It would’ve been good for Halloween.

I loved all the credits throughout the episode.

Looks like Hector and Heather are getting together. I hope Darryl and White Josh don’t break up. Darryl already has a daughter. Why can’t he be happy with one kid?

Ew! Greg’s dad!?

Clearly Darryl needs to enter some sort of co-parenting arrangement with Alex on SUPERGIRL, since they both seem to be in the same bind . . . in love with partners who don't want kids. :)

Buying a pet of some sort might be a good compromise. Baby animals are super cute and require less work than a human baby.
