Possibly. Are you watching a different version of Star Trek than the rest of us?
Sure you do. Are you unfamiliar with the concept of evolution? You don't have to originate on Earth to be Human or vice versa. What would a highly advanced Human look like anyway, a Metron? Suffice to say that Trek didn't make clear if some of them were Humans or not.
Not sure if serious .It's funny you should say that, but I don't believe in evolution. I believe in creationism and an intelligent designer.
Not sure if serious.I believe survival of the fittest is one of the intelligent designer's laws.
Adaptation is essential.I believe survival of the fittest is one of the intelligent designer's laws.
Surely you recall that Star Trek clearly stated that intelligent life was a result of deliberate planning, and evolution played no part?Sure you do. Are you unfamiliar with the concept of evolution?

Yep, I would say so... Its either reading this thread, or the Kia advert during a recent Works Cup game that put this in my head:This guy is trolling for sure![]()
There is a mystery about TOS that has never been addressed - i.e. why do all aliens speak English, why is Mr. Spock serving on a Federation ship? How can Humanity ever trust a race of telepathic aliens that all look like Satan? If this was the first time a ship has ventured where no man has gone before, how is Humanity so well established in the universe with star bases and colonies everywhere. Some of these things don't add up.
IMO.
Also a new series has to have a different and more specific goal than the main intro mission statement in TOS as an ongoing story and series thematic arc. The premise needs revamping into something other that to bodly go where no man has gone before. IMO.
