You don't have to originate on Earth to be Human or vice versa. What would a highly advanced Human look like anyway, a Metron? Suffice to say that Trek didn't make clear if some of them were Humans or not.

I'd think if they were actual humans someone would make mention of that fact.

We known what highly advanced humans look like, they're two meter long newts

Sure you do. Are you unfamiliar with the concept of evolution?

It's funny you should say that, but I don't believe in evolution. I believe in creationism and an intelligent designer.

I believe survival of the fittest is one of the intelligent designer's laws.

Surely you recall that Star Trek clearly stated that intelligent life was a result of deliberate planning, and evolution played no part?

Evolution is a tool designed by a long-dead race of beings to make everyone look like them, and eventually salamanders for some reason. Although several races have decided to forego that last stage, and just turned themselves into God.

Seperately, there's a Grand Cosmic Plan which, mysterious as it is, must be obeyed in all things, and is itself the arbiter of fate for civilizations the Enterprise is too lazy to assist with.

    Laws of parallel development, init.

Look at Miri’s Planet, or Mondas, or Kobol, Eternia, Coruscant even. Humans pop up where ever the conditions occur. We’re like the mold on a piece of old bread.

Yep, I would say so... Its either reading this thread, or the Kia advert during a recent Works Cup game that put this in my head:

I was willing to let one slide, but let's continue (if there's any point in continuing) without the public accusations of trolling, please.

You sir are a very stable genius.
Q1: Because the universal translator is also adjusted for the audience's benefit.
Q2. Because Vulcan is a founding member of the Federation and Mr. Spock is also half-human.
Q3: Humans have rejected such petty notions.
Q4: There duty is one of exploration and diplomacy. Also being human looking is apparently an evolutionary advantage.

I'm afraid I lost consciousness during the last paragraph. Apologies.
