Could/should Pike show up again on Discovery?

I was thinking that with him living on Talo's it would be very possible to write in the idea they can extend life to a point where he and Vina are still alive even in the far future. Maybe even their human bodies have died but their souls so to speak have still been preserved through their advance tech and knowledge of the mind.
Of course I also have sort of liked the idea that maybe if they do a Pike show they do something unexpected and say he and Vina have their bodies fixed and at some point they leave and return to the bigger universe. We really don't know his future fate beyond the two parter TOS episodes were Spock returned him to the planet. Almost anything could have happened to him.

What the Hell? Not only does Pike show up again, Robert April makes a grand appearance too. So does Archer.

What are they doing in the 32nd Century? They got the numbers of the century mixed up. Oops!

They should all leave recordings, like Sarah Connor in that awful Christian Bale Terminator movie.

Imagine Michael finding a stash with Spock telling stories about finding whales in the past to save the earth, or meeting Space Abraham Lincoln and then decades later, Klingon Abraham Lincoln.

Pike just talks about horses for hours.

Hey it could work. Talos could become a important alley in rebuilding the Federation. Maybe to do that they are searching for people who remember the Federation and want to help rebuid it. Pike could be one person, now in control of that planet and it's tech. You got the Trill who remember it. Maybe some Ferengi have a fleet of old Federation ships they want to sale. Which could be useful for spare parts and supplies. It will be interesting to see what tactics they use to do it.

Whatever happens, she's not calling Leland "Carl".

Space Lincoln wants everyone to be excellent to each other.

Unless it's some sort of Captain's log or other type of log that was recorded in the 23rd century has a record of some situation related to the story that they're telling in the 31st century, absolutely not.

They should have just had a show based on the Enterprise of Pike, No 1 and young Spock. If Disco is in the distant future, then no he shouldnt. But they may not stay there indefinitely.

To me the idea isn't just to see Pike and make him a Captain again and all that. It's more about making Talos a major player on the show. Pike would be a very different person, almost Godlike even after living all those years on the planet. You could even do a fakeout. You think Pike is going to be this helpful alley but he has changed so much he is actually a villain. Maybe he is THE villain who brought down the Federation. Corrupted by the power and long life you get from living on that planet.

I think the likelihood is very low, given the direction the series has taken, unless it's a flashback or time travel / "message through time" scenario.

But....
1. Pike is pretty cool
2. It's Star Trek, so anything is possible

I dislike pervertions.
I love Pike as is, and I am not alone with it. He's significant figure for many people. I would hate if someone tried to spoil the character for any reason.
STDSC used him and leaved behind as they did with Number One and Spock too. Let Disco go further without these strong and lovely characters.
Pike and company deserves their own show and development in the same key they are now. They are incredible interesting without "interesting" twists. And they certainly deserves better destiny than support group for Burnham who eats a half of screen time.

I like the idea that Pike and Vina were fixed and were able to live normal lives. The series could be about their lives on Talos 4. Pike and Vina have a family and a whole community is built there on Pikes Planet.

Maybe, it could work in a flashback or something (or a scene like at the second PIC episode) - but I don't want him in the future...

I still am waiting for an appearance from Captain Robert April.

It's unlikely we see Pike in season 3. But can Sarek still do the Katra connection to Burnham despite the time difference?

Fuddy-duddy British version who wears a sweater over his uniform and is such a pacifist he has to hand over command to someone else when it comes time to fire the phasers, please. (from Diane Carey's Final Frontier)

Here's every April so far in tie-ins:

If anything, I can see him showing up in Section 31, since the Countdown to Darkness comic (and hell, an early concept for Into Darkness) had Robert April involved with S31.
