Could becoming poop and a decayed corpse be essential to reincarnation

I don't necessary beleive this but it was something that kind of popped into my head and it made me think about the transition period people will/would go through. If the soul is something that is part of our bodies such as pure energy inside us or something like that, then is it possible that to make the next transition into a new body or a spirt that we would need to go through all the natural evoultionary changes or else the transition can't happen.

Naturally I think it's safe to say that the human life experience is supose to basically go from sperm to fetus to human to corpose to insect poop. Which all goes back into the enviroment and if our soul goes through the process then maybe we are supose to go through the complete cycle instead of freeezing our self in cryogentic's or becoming dust in a urn. Perhaps we are supose to go back into the enviroment if we want to come back out as human again someday.

Anyways it's something to ponder or use for your new religion if you every want to get into the cult business.

Won't we all be resurrected by the Omega Point at the end of time by emulation of all possible brain states -- at least according to Frank Tipler who extrapolated a technological deity from Pierre Teilhard de Chardin's insights into the nature of the Cosmos? He didn't mention poop as being a necessary component.

I'm trying to figure out the step in between "corpse" and "insect poop." Do they really make coffins so crappy these days that bugs just crawl inside and eat your body?

Well ... the coffin would eventually rot. I mean, it's made out of wood.

I want a steel one. Vacuum-sealed, to preserve me forever.

How about a diamond coffin, forged from the carbon remains of my loyal subjects.

Re: Could becoming poop and a decayed corpse be essential to reincarna

Why don't you just have one of your servants buried with you? Like when Mr. Burns wanted Smithers buried alive with him.

You'll turn to goo instead of poop in a hermetically sealed coffin.

But at least it will be goo that's never touched an insect's lips.

Being a human is gross.

 This is why I'll choose cremation for when I kick off.

Anansi Boys by Neil Gaiman said:
In the event of the glorious resurrection, thought Fat Charlie, when Gabriel blows his mighty horn and the dead escape from their coffins, his father was going to be stuck in his grave, banging away futilely at the lid, wishing that he had been buried with a crowbar and possibly an oxyacetylene torch.

Fun, isn't it?

Are you still a human when you're dead? A philosophical question for the ages...

Polluter. :p
