Correct me if I'm wrong

But Deep Space Nine, (The station) has appeared in more series that any other hero ship / station?

I've done this from memory, and I'm not counting the movies, but;

1701 - features in TOS, DS9 and DIS
1701 - D - features in TNG, DS9, and PIC (sort of)
Voyager - is only in VOY
NX01 - is only in Ent
Discovery - is only in DIS
But DS9, has been in TNG, DS9, VOY AND Lower Decks.

Am I missing any?

Both the 1701 and the 1701-D were also in ENT’s ‘These are the Voyages.’ I can see how you might have forgotten that, seeing as the episode was a heaping pile of crap.

The NX-01 appeared in “Star Trek Into Darkness” as a table top model in the Admiral’s office.

And this might be splitting hairs, but the Voyager CGI model and sets appeared in “Inter Armin Silente Leges”.

Also in the Enterprise episode “Future Tense” we see in Daniel’s database an Intrepid-class ship, possible Voyager.

We did see the TOS Enterprise bridge on TNG, in "Relics". Might that count?

Although the point of DS9 appearing in more series than any other main ship/station... I think it's accurate. (And why not... it's a beautifully designed station.)

For the moment, anyway.

I'm just not sure that it is very significant at this point. DS9 gets referenced in the background, through the pylons, Quark's bar advertised in the background, the misappropriation of Section 31. Characters from other series get brought back and legacy actors get to reprise their roles. They get the spotlight. DS9 gets peanuts.

As nice as I find this 'fun fact' about Deep Space Nine as a huge DS9 fan, I'm also a bit sad, that at the same time, the DS9 characters are so underused in the new Trek series so far. We have TOS characters in DSC, we have, of course, some TNG'lers in PIC, we have Seven and now we also have Janeway. (Of course, with the ENT characters, it's a similiar thing, but maybe, it's not that striking, because ENT plays in a whole different era and the only ways to bring them back would be the 'usual suspects' like time travel, holdeck and transporter accidents.) Then again, Section 31, one of the best original ideas in DS9, seems to be very popular among the writers. (Let's not forget, that it was also mentioned in 'Star Trek Into Darkness'.)

I agree to a point. I love to see the DS9 characters back, but not to kill them of like soms of the characters in PIC

On the plus side, if other Trek series aren't using the DS9 characters, that means they can't mess up the characters. I can just see some later series deciding that what Jake really needed was to give up writing and join Starfleet. Or Garick should decide to make a tell-all autobiography.

Certainly, you raise a valid concern. I wouldn't want wild and random things to happen to DS9 characters. However, DS9 characters are more malleable. Many are already more morally ambiguous than those brought back from TNG and Voyager in their new forms. Bashir or Quark, for instance, could easily fit into any Picard episode. Moreover, the respective actors are excellent at their craft at the moment. According to Shimerman, a proposal for a Quark show had been submitted to Kurtzman. Shimerman further said that he would only play the role on a recurring basis (unless the money was REALLY good).

Hero ships appearing outside it's own show?

Original Enterprise: First 4 movies, TNG "Relics" (holodeck) DS9 "Trials and Tribble-ations," ENT "These are the Voyages..." (ending montage) and the JJ Abrams trilogy

Enterorise-D: DS9 "Emissary," Generations, ENT "These Are the Voyages..." (ending montage) and briefly in the Picard premiere (dream sequence)

Deep Space Nine: TNG "Birthright, Part I," VOY "Caretaker," and a Lower Decks episode.

Defiant: First Contact (cameo)

P.S. I'll take holodecks and montages, but a model on a desk doesn't count.

For me, when we talk about a continuation of DS9's storylines, it's not that much about the characters. Of course, it would be nice in some way to see one or another again (also as a statement of the new trek runners, that DS9 matters), but more important is, in my eyes, that we'll here something about the Dominion and the Gamma Quadrant in the future. The Jem'Hadar, the Founders and the Vorta are DS9's biggest installment in the Trek universe and it would make me sad if following show runners would just ignore it, while they give us the 100th Klingon storyline.
