So I don't know what was going on this week at the grocery store. There were more people shopping there than I usually see, but I assume that was a combination of upcoming Christmas, and upcoming lockdown. But the real issue was that I counted seven different people wearing their mask under their nose (and one not wearing one at all).

So this comic seems both timely and appropriate.

On Youtube this dude with a huge beard wove the beard into a mask to cover his face.
(somehow I doubt that would have the efficacy of tightly woven fabric)

I tested positive for Covid on Friday. Got it from my sister, who's my caretaker (I'm disabled). I've been having trouble breathing, but I have a home ventilator that helps. Been experiencing some strange sound reverberations in my head (from fluid?) and hallucinations/dizziness.

I liked your post, but that doesn't mean I like what happened to you. My wish for you is a speedy and good recovery.

it is like free hallucinations .. I get them all the time--- either the left-overs from my LSD tripping days or the symptoms of schizoaffective going on, either way life is a non-stop hallucination I have become used to these things... so I create videos that look like (sometimes) what I see and hear... in just the visual - audio spectrums. --- my smell and tactile and taste hallucinations are harder to reproduce correctly mmmm I can't seem to get the seeing bugs crawling on my skin and syncing that with them biting a kind of hallucination but to reproduce this for the internet is impossible and not that they are even nice hallucinations but maybe someday? -000- feel better we are here for you @Locutus of Bored - hang in there ... if it is not real it can't hurt you (too much).

Oh Locutus that's so scary, I'm very upset reading this :( I hope all good things for you and that you recover well!

Two weeks ago I developed a cold. A REALLY bad cold. I thought I might have had strep throat too. I definitely had annoying fever too but it eventually went away. I made an appointment and got a throat swab and (first time) nasal swab.

Within 5 minutes of getting the nasal swab done I had a wicked headache. I assumed it was from the test and it would go away. I test results came back negative and my throat came back fine too. I’m pretty much cold-free but the headache hasn’t gone away. It’s been 5 days.

Has anyone developed a headache after getting the nasal swab. I’m worried they screwed up my sinuses.

I think it's pretty hard to screw up sinuses (and this is from someone with pretty screwed up sinuses.

I've been dealing with something since last August where having my head forward causes lightheadedness and some vertigo. Mostly better now but still lingering. COVID was negative and CT scan showed nothing for the symptoms. Three courses of different antibiotics didn't make any difference either.

Well I still have a bunch of nasal spray left over from when I had an ear infection months ago. Going to use it once a day for a while and see if that helps.

I work at the airport. My company has been sending all employees to undergo covid-19 test every two weeks as required by the airport authorities. My next test is due on the 22nd. So far all tests have been negative.

I am also due to receive the vaccine next month because i work at the airport. It is voluntary. Some people at my company have refused vaccination, citing concerns about the side effects.

Get well soon to anyone who is poorly. My sister was tested positive for Covid last week days after her partner was who works as a nurse. He was treating a deaf patient so had to remove his mask for him to lip read and it looks like that is how it was transmitted. The patient has since died from Covid and my sister and her partner are on steriods and antibiotics but fortunately are able to remain at home and symptoms are not severe. The worrying part is long term damage it can do. After SARS I would have hoped there would be better preparation.
