Cam McCormick was a tight end who spent 9 years in college -- 7 at Oregon and 2 at Miami -- due to injury after injury after injury.

I know it doesn't work quite like this, but that's an entire second college scholarship someone else didn't get.

On the other hand after travelling across the country to Tampa (on other business) and watching the game from a luxury box (thanks to an influential friend) all I got to see was Boise State get thumped by USF.
