College Football 2024

Aside from the opening drive, Auburn was doing fairly well against Oklahoma. No interceptions, until that ONE interception that got run back and basically lost the game. :brickwall: My wife says that Auburn is about one interception per game from a 5-0 season so far.

Most of the Oklahoma fans were fine, and we happened to be sitting below a big block of them. After that pick six, one of them sprayed all us Auburn people below them with ketchup. Classy. My wife was having to get it out of her hair, not to mention the splatters all over our clothes. And of course that one incident will likely forever negatively color our perception of their fanbase. And no, no idea who it was, not that the people around them were likely to give them up.

A season of mixed blessings for me. As a Boise State season ticket holder I'm getting to watch Ashton Jeanty post absolutely insane numbers: 259 yards on 26 carries and 4 touchdowns against Washington State and possibly become the Broncos' first Heisman Trophy winner

On the other hand...I'm a Florida State grad.... :ack:

They don't have a football team, but the basketball program has been nationally ranked for decades.

Yeah, Tennessee has played some high profile shooty hoops games against Gonzaga the past few years and Zags have had a presence in the tourney for what seems like forever. The reason I asked tho is for the PAC to get back to a place where they're considered a p5 conference, they're going to need some football. Right now, the selection is pretty weak.

Instead of throwing the ball into the endzone the Tennessee QB runs out the clock and the game ends. Joe Milton did the exact same thing for the Volunteers in 2021.

So, what is the Alabama press going to say about this loss on Monday morning? Are they going to start calling for Kalen DeBoer's head?

Why does college football have an official beer sponsor when most college kids aren’t old enough to drink?

UNC WR Tylee Craft died from lung cancer at the age of 23. He was diagnosed with Stage 4 in March of 2022 but stayed in school and graduated this past May.

Why does college football have an official beer sponsor AND the Battle of the Barrel is still banned? Bring it back:

And yes, the temporary halting of this trophy was appropriate (Kentucky players DUI resulting in death) but it never should've been permanent. The Barrel survived Prohibition but not MADD?

At the airport heading home after the Penn State/ USC game.

Lincoln Riley needs to be fired.

Out of a cannon.

Into the sun.
