Well, it was a real nail-biter at the Coliseum on Saturday… 49-3 at halftime.

Had a great time seeing family. Lots of fun at the game.

What was really cool was the halftime drone light show. Pretty amazing!

A Washington State judge has issued a temporary restraining order against the Pac 12 Board of Directors from meeting to dissolve its assets until the court determines the makeup of the Board.

Washington State and Oregon argued that the other Pac 12 teams, by giving their notice to move to other conferences, have vacated their spots on the Board, and forfeited their right to vote on how the Conference money should be divided.

If the judge rules in favor of the Pac 12, the money will be divided equally among the twelve colleges.

If the judge rules in favor of Washington State and Oregon, the money will be split 50-50, with other 10 schools receiving nothing.

Missouri beats #15 K-State on a walk-off 61 yard FG.

Meanwhile BC commits 17 penalties, loses by 2 to #3 FSU. Terrible discipline ruined a huge upset there.

I notice @jenji120 has been pretty quiet this week…

:shifty:

I've been pissed off enough to where it was best that I said nothing. I wish I could say I was surprised but as my previous post alluded to I'm not surprised. What I've been trying to figure out is what exactly is wrong with this team. And after way too much thought, I think the majority of it rests squarely on the OLINE which is still missing center Cooper Mays. The other half is the defense missing starting LB Pilli and our corners still being terrible.

We tried to screen pass our way to victory which is always a loser in SEC play. ALWAYS. And I've spent most of this week trying to figure out why the hell we're not running our offense. Screen pass, screen pass, screen pass while avoiding throwing downfield is not our offense. OL is the best answer I can come up with.

Oh and an obligatory - fuck the refs. Kicking the ball and allowing UF to sub killed the drive that was our only chance at waging a comeback. A missed facemask on our QB (of all players) during the 2 pt conversion run and missed holds on UF's big runs. The officiating was bad enough to where unaffilliated people were asking 'what did UT do to piss of the refs?' and I wish I knew.

We have UTSA this week which is actually a good team but in order to win back the fanbase the team is going to have to make a statement. We haven't played a good game all year.

On a positive note... This is happening: https://twitter.com/i/status/1705325473377530081

The cool backstory here is that this guy started out by positing his work to twitter. Even though TwitterVols are 90+ percent Anglo-speakers everyone absolutely loved his calls and his work spread to Vol messageboards everywhere. We took to calling him Juan Ward (after legendary Vol broadcaster John Ward who we still miss). Most had no idea what he was saying but everyone loved it anyway because there was passion. Now we have a bunch of hillbillies saying VAMOS VOLS! And UT and local networks/radio are making an official spanish broadcast happen for the first time in school history. We're also bringing in Vol for Life Fuad Reveiz to be a co-host.

Got some great games later: Colorado/Oregon and Ohio State/Notre Dame.

Glad we’re basically past the patsy stage of the season.

I'm tired of Prime getting so much attention. Go Ducks. tOSU fans are more unbearable than ND fans so go Irish. Doubt my wishes will come true tho.

Don't feel bad about Clemson losing, but I do feel bad for their kicker who had left the team and wasn't even playing until today, and he missed what could've been the game winner.

I wanted Clemson to win because LSU was overrated making FSU overrated. Same situation with Texas - Alabama is overrated this year. Hell tbh, college football looks down this year. Another year for UGA to feast. I've never seen a program that had such good luck with being good when everyone else sucked.

UCLA has big offensive line problems. Like watching the Chicago Bears offensive line.
