What a stupid rule to say it must be illuminated.
Do they get a lot of really low-flying aircraft?
That's usually the way it happens in government work. Show up to your desk one morning and there's a flashlight in your chair.
And no extra money for the extra work.
Stupid depends on the views of your society. Some might say that a rule that mandates the installation of CCTV cameras in a private residence is stupid.
