Chuck's got a mother of a mother!

I thought I read they tried to get Lynda Carter but she wasn't available...? Anyway it will be fun seeing Zach playing off Linda Hamilton, even if she doesn't exactly have the right looks for the part.

I prefer to think that Sam Becket fought Skynet.

As a kid, on Beauty and the Beast I was sure Linda was the most beautiful women in the world.

Been a while since I've seen her play "pretty".

When Chuck is cancelled, I know Zach Levi's next gig...

When? WHEN?! Blasphemy! :p

If Chuck doesn't get to run its course, I will be Very Upset. Then Bad Things will happen.

It can run its course fully within one more season and two might be taking it too far. It's a thin premise that they've stretched and done a decent job stretching it out, if you ignore the lapses in logic: the show started out telling us that Chuck, as a nerd, was superior to spies but now he wants to be a spy? And the writers can't make up their minds whether it's okay for two spies to be in a relationship together. Multiple retcons are a clear sign of a premise being stretched beyond its capacity, so let's not keep going till it breaks. ;)

^ That's a fair assessment. I think I agree that they're starting to stretch out for ideas with where to go, but my one hope is that even if season 4 is the last, they get to tie up the story properly and give it a decent end. It would be a shame if it was unceremoniously dumped mid-season.

It's the fact that I like all the characters and their various stories and every episode has at least one laugh out loud moment that makes me want to keep it around for a little while longer. Providing, of course, the quality is kept as high next season as it has been so far. I am a great believer in going out on a high, and I'd prefer it to be at the showrunner's request rather than the network's.

Now I'm imagining a scene from the first Terminator where Kyle Reese, running from the Terminator with Sarah Connor stops and looks around confused momentarily and then says "oh boy."

I love the show, but I tend to agree that next season should be the end: otherwise they have to keep on introducing new reasons for Chuck and Sarah to split then get back, another international conspiracy to fight, another problem with the intersect working properly...
One more season's great. Stretching it for more could end up like X-Files.

I'd be surprised if they went the route of splitting up Chuck and Sarah again. It would be silly at this point...unless one of them died.
