I thought on listening to the recording that I had lost all respect for him. However, if 'his people' are really saying this, then I've lost all miniscule, sub-atomic levels of respect that I may have inadvertently retained after hearing the recording. To attempt to exploit Ledger's death as a way of excusing your own diva-ish, prima-donna-ish, unprofessional, bullying hissyfit is even more despicable than the actual tantrum itself - and that's saying something.

The funniest thing about all this, I think, is the discovery that in everyday life, people really do call him "McG."
Yeah, that guy was terrified of Bale. I guess he has no control over the set.
By most accounts, the shoot on this movie was a horrendous mess, and McG could barely keep things glued together. I'm not surprised that Bale's temper may have been running high, given that they were shooting in the middle of dry, arid Arizona (or wherever Godforsaken rock the place was shooting) in the dead of summer.

Nobody deserves to be treated like that at work. That's unprofessional bull shit. Bale's a piece of prima donna garbage. Because he's the "star" he gets to screech like an animal throwing profanities? The hell with him. I've been on the receiving end of that from my boos and it isn't right. It makes you feel sub human. I hope Bale falls crotch first on to a lube rack.
He's not over Heath Ledger's death? He worked with Ledger once. If that came from Jake or Maggie Gyllenall I might buy it. Oh, have they now. The way many people see it, the story isn't over. It's just starting. That incident says a lot about Bale's character. To me, he's an asshole, but he can be a damned fine actor, too. So I'm not going to boycott his movies just yet.
