Watching Carriers now. Star Trek
would be the first ad.
Jeri, I'll let you know how it is.
*watches movie*
It was a decent movie. Simple but good. Not the ending I'd expect from an end-of-the-world thriller movie. Also, the intro and conclusion of the movie put a really nice cap around it. Chris Pine's character had my name.

His character was a little bit if a douche. He did a good job though. I recommend at least watching it. Lol.
Story: 7 out of 10
--It was simple, but good. No real twists but it keeps your interest.
Predictability: 6 out of 10
--I could see where things were headed every so often but not enough to tell the whole story before seeing it.
Acting: 8 out of 10
--Good actors, they pulled you in and made you feel for them.
Production Work: 8 out of 10
--The effects looked pretty realistic, no CGI (thank god, direct-to-DVD movie budgets are usually pretty low

), and the camera work was pretty good.
Overall: 29 out of 40
--Not bad for a direct-to-DVD movie. Like I said, it was simple, but good. It's one of those movies where I recommend seeing it at least once but don't push for necessarily buying it. (I'm talking about renting...

)
Chris Pine:
Shirtless Count: 1
Pantless Count: 1
Adorable Smile Count: Lost count the minute he brought out the first one.

It was often enough.
One word of caution, I'm known to be easily satisfied, so my review is probably on the more positive side.
