Cheesiest Lines

Uhura's line regarding her "aural sensitivity" - yes, I know it refers to her communications skills and ability to hear things, but in the movie she might as well have said "I suck cock very well."

Also from Uhura. "I'll be monitoring your frequency." Cheeeeeeeeese.

You know that the double entendre can't exist in the French dubbed version?
I think that's partly why I didn't really get the hint that it was more than a mere teacher/student favoritism in that scene. Had I watched it in English, I would have immediately understood!

"I am and always will be...your friend."

It sounded so forced given the circumstances they were in. If someone said that to me a minute after meeting me the first time, I'd have to back away very slowly and/or try to find a weapon to defend myself.

I agree. It's not that it shouldn't have been in the movie at all but it was not put at the right time, IMO.
I would have preferred Spock Prime to say that to nuKirk at a later moment, for instance just after he says an old friend taught him to cheat when Kirk is about to transport to the Enterprise with Scotty.

That whole "victor, victor" scene. The whole thing is about as cheesy in a bad way as anything ever committed to film. >.<

:guffaw: I actually loved that one. So funny. Chekov is very amusing to watch, anyway. What a cutie.
The whole theatre was laughing both times I've seen the movie. During the swollen hands and swollen tongue scene as well.
Kirk running around the ship trying to tell everyone they shouldn't go there because its a trap and McCoy coming after him, giving him the shots all the time and Kirk always spinning around "Will you stop that!" and things along those lines.:guffaw:

aural =/= oral

It's never mentioned before that Vulcan blood is green...

Other than the scene early in the film with young Spock's green-bloodied lip and green-bruise on his cheek. ;)

Well, yeah, but a casual viewer might miss those clues or attribute the green tinge to lighting or something. If you weren't looking at Spock's lip or cheek in that scene you'd miss it, and it's never mentioned by anyone. If it were me I would have had Spock wipe his lip at some point and look down at the obviously green blood; that way the viewer would look at it too and think, "Huh, his blood is green." Oh well!!
