Here's the clip, the section where he talks shows xthemusic's channel is at 6:40.He did? Xthemusic, can you get any better than that?
This was the last episode? Too bad.
This is another show that I wish was on more often... someone needs to do a British news show that runs for more than 2 months a year.
There are shows that run longer. Or have 2 short runs (or more) per year. HIGNFY, 8 out of 10 Cats, Russell Howards Good News, The 'wipe shows just aren't included in that.

Yeah, I know, but that still doesn't seem to be enough. Again, I figure it's because the British model means you can't have a show run year long... but it's just disappointing is all.
Then again, I guess I can't complain too much - I like Paul Merton's travelogue shows after all, and there's no way he could do those if HIGNFY ran more than half a year.
^ It was quite good, actually. Two of the guests were Reginald D. Hunter and Victoria Coren, so there's your awesome and your sexy (in that order) right there.

Yeah, I know what you mean. There's others coming along but a lot start off on Radio 4 first and work their way up on to TV. Russell Howard and Frankie Boyle both have their own shows now, Simon Amstell's Sitcom is coming up. There's a new show coming from Simon Bodkin's alter ego Lee Nelson in his "Well Good Show". I've seen Lee Nelson live and to be honest I thought it was just a bit too much of a character to be really great, but that was 3 years ago maybe it's improved. I'm sure there's others but I think by the time they get their own shows they've done the rounds on others so it still feels the same.Yeah, it was alright. At this point thing, I feel like it's the same 10 people creating and guesting on each other's panel shows though.![]()
I know I've seen more comedians live thanks to these shows than I would have other wise. The easy solution would be to just have one year long show that everyone stars in.
I will say though, I can name 10 times more British (and Australian) comedians than I can Canadian and American ones. As a vehicle for pimping your name to the public, it's much better (and cheaper) than trying to get a sitcom or doing the odd HBO special.

BBC Two will air a special edition of Charlie Brooker's show Screenwipe this year.
Charlie Brooker's 2010 Wipe will examine the year in news, television, games and films.
Brooker will be joined by guests including Grace Dent, who will examine the year's soaps. Investigative journalist Nick Davies will discuss the alleged News Of The World phone hacking, while comedian Doug Stanhope will talk about the BP oil disaster.
Other topics expected to be explored include the Chilean miners, the elections and the Pope's visit. Brooker's regular guest Tim Key will also make an appearance.
Brooker said: "For those who don't have the patience to relive the entire year in real time, 2010 Wipe will condense the whole of 2010 into one compact, easily-digestible package. Think of it as a souvenir, if that helps. We'll be looking back at the year before it's even finished and pointing and laughing at various bits of it like the repugnant animals we are."
Great news, can't wait for it. Doug Stanhope is always good value.
Fuck Tim Key, though.
