Character out of make-up

Captain
I don't know why I thought of this, but I was wondering if we ever saw Garak out of his costume and make-up? We saw almost the whole cast (the alien ones) out of costume in the episode where Sisko dreams about 1940's(?) Earth (I'm bad with episode names), but I can't remember if Garak was in that.

So....whose got the answers.

Yeah, Garak wasn't in 'Far Beyond The Stars' (which was set in the 1950s, I believe), so we didn't get to see him out of the makeup. I don't know if he was among the un-make-up'ed cast members who appeared in Vic's lounge for the 'grand finale' scene of WYLB - you might check Memory Alpha.

According to Memory Alpha's WYLB article, he wasn't seen out of makeup during that episode (he was on-set the final day, but didn't appear in the lounge scene.) However, Memory Alpha's Andrew Robinson article has a picture of him out of make-up.

Sort of off topic, but it wasnt untill It was pointed out to me he was "Scorpio" in Dirty Harry that I realised that was him.

He is also in an episode of Cheers. He is a patient to Dr. Crane (Kelsey Grammer) who has a phobia I don't recall at this moment. It isn't a major role since Robinson is a part of a phobia therapy group.

He was also in one of the final six episodes of The Practice that helped to set up Boston Legal - he was the father of a rapist that hired Crane, Poole & Schmidt to keep his son out of prison.

I believe that he was at a table close to the stage during the opening shots of the DS9 crew at the bar.

We're missing Murder She Wrote in this list, where he was one of many Americans in an episode based in Ireland.

I've no idea why I know that...

This thread has quickly turned into imdb.:)

I remember him from LA Law, where he played a man with multiple personalities.

Andy Robinson is good at bringing the creepy.

He's really like one of those classic character actors that there aren't that many of anymore, but were prevalent in the days of 40s/50s cinema and 60s/70s TV. I can't say enough good about his abilities.

Andrew Robinson was in one of my favorite Twilight Zone episodes of all time called "Profile in Silver" (it was part of the New Twilight Zone aired in the 80's). He played John F. Kennedy.

As for "Far Beyond the Stars", was there ever a plan to have him appear in it? Or was that just a rumor?

And one other thing about that ep...

The baseball player Willie Hawkins, played by Michael Dorn, was obviously based on Willie Mays. (In fact I thought Dorn *was* playing Mays - I don't remember the last name ever actually being said onscreen.) Any particular reason they invented a fictional player, rather than actually using Mays himself?

^ They may have not wanted to go there since the character as trying to pick up on Kassidy's past incarnation. Doesn't make the guy look too good if he's trying to take the Captain's girl.
