I'm pretty sure the script thing is a fib. She likes to say things that make her seem important, and brag about being under nonexistent non-disclosure agreements.
This. It's an absolute lie. It's not like the old days where this might just have been conceivable. We live in an era where even a lot of the cast don't get the full scripts for these major blockbusters, and when they do thir scripts are tailored to them so that if they're lost or leaked the script can be traced.

The most she is likely tp have is perhaps access to an insider who themselves had seen all or part of the script. Even then highly unlikely.

Maybe I'm missing the point, since it still plugs their stuff.
Fair enough I suppose. I do not mind criticism as I only spent 10 minutes on this for a bit of fun yesterday afternoon, nor do I pretend to be a professional video editor. The title is ‘#QuarkStandsWithAxanar’, so it is supposedly Quark advertising ‘Axanar’. Just as Quark has placed advertisements all over DS9 he has also added one to the end of the video. It is meant to be a little ironic and based on some of the responses I have had to this video, I think at least a few people have understood this point, even if not all of them find it funny.

I edited the video because some of the things that Alec Peters has done reminds me of Quark :)

Edit:

No offence to Quark is intended!

I have to agree with this. Leslie and I have had a number of confrontations when I've called her on what smells like BS over the past year. She seems to be the kind like Para Mobius/Doug Fitz, Bob Trekfan/Bob Pike/Fred Archer or even Wayne Alford who just throws a lot at the wall and hope something sticks. She has never been able to back up her claims and will always cite having an NDA if pressed too hard. Reminds me of the non-existent "Jen DeSalle Bouchet" at times.

Her only real "affiliation" with Axanar is being a donor. She is not part of the production staff nor the promotional team.

I was reading an article about what happens to the super PAC money from failed US Presidential candidates (spoiler alert: the founder of the super PAC is legally allowed to spend all the money on personal expenses, including paying themselves a salary) and it struck me what Alec Peters could do with himself now that his dream of becoming a big-time Hollywood producer is deader than the animal corpse stapled to Donald Trump's head: he could run super PACs for people who will never become President because they have the charisma of a cheese wheel and/or are too crazy even for Americans to vote for. You know, people like Scott Walker, Bobby Jindal, or even Basil Marceaux.com (click the link, it's hilarious)

It plays to all his strengths: making grandiose promises that will never happen, raising money for said promises, and spending the money on himself. Best of all, when the person his super PAC is backing inevitably ends their campaign, no one will blame Alec! He'll get to sail off into the sunset with several million dollars, then come back and do the whole thing again four years later!
