a) for a new bridge set or
b) to buy the ares bridge so fans can pay for... well... what fans paid for xD?

Life is like the Star ship Aries, .you don't know what you got until it self destructs

heh. it's LORD gump to you^^
happy retirement, dmac, or whatever people say in this case. sometimes my memory gets blurry and it feels like we all finished school, then axanar started, and now we're all close to retirement.

I feel like I'm crossing over to the twilight zone.
I'm looking at a dimension where the world around you is going totally nuts.
I should have been long gone at 40 years. I worked for it, I planed for it and I prepared for it. All the joy and excitement of getting up at 6 am was long gone. Now if I get out of here on the 15th I'll be 45 days short of 45 years
The world is not static, there is always an A.P. that comes along and stirs everything up. That's true in my fan film hobby, it's true at the job and the little one dog town I was set to become a part of. Mayberry North West...lol.

More details about Lane's fan film set in the Axanar universe. Seemingly he is not directing it:

Wait, did we know that the Alec was going to turn the original movie Axanar script into a novel?
I'm curious if the comic script Lane wrote is actual script, or just a bunch of dialogee and panel descriptions. I've read some as extra features in the collected editions of some of the comics I've read, and it's not as simple as just dialogue and panel descriptions. I mean yeah that is a big part of it, but there's a certain style and flow that they have, and it takes a lot more than just reading the comics to be able to do that.
Hell, the same if true of movies too.

I hope it's an epic just as epic-ish as this:

Part 2 - The More Things Change - The More They Stay The Same - The Revenge Of The Return Of The Son Of Something...

Let's move the goal-posts again... ( sung to the tune of the time warp )

Still 30 days out right ? Oh who am i kidding this is turning into a book now, right ?

90 minutes of axanar on the wall
90 minutes of 'nar
You C& D one down and pass it around
and
89 minutes of 'nar on the wall

If you believe in "parallel universes" or the concept of the multiverse, you must rejoice in the thought that somewhere there is a universe identical to our own in every way, except that there, "Axanar" has never existed, and never will.

Ha, good point. And, there is another universe in which, after "Prelude", a particular person had an unexpected heart attack, and someone else took over and made a really awesome movie.

Interesting parallels here -

Not sure the FTC are the right ones to go after LFIM and his Axa-fraud - thoughts @jespah ??
Maybe the difference here is that Monahan failed to deliver a product he had every right to sell. Peters is trafficking in goods based IP he doesn't own. Maybe the FTC and other regulatory agencies figure it was enough that the rightful owners sued his ass.
