Unless AP wants to go back and do an American Chopper fanfilm and play Paul, Sr....
AP might be almost as good an actor as Paul Sr.I love American Chopper, that would be so awesome!

Yep - it's now a clothing storestumbled accross something today....
So the donors spent $500K or so plus rent to retrofit a warehouse into a non-soundproof studio. When Alec left he supposedly left all the equipment and stuff behind for the owner.. you know all the stuff the donors paid for.
and what is all that donor investment going for today?
Nothing. The space is now the HQ for a motorcycle gear company and all that donor money spent retrofitting the warehouse amounts to nothing,
yeah, they just had to fix a wall that some idiot environmentalist that was in there before had painted (RIP earth's largest green screen). They actually did a nice job with the place.
Alec cannot crowd fund.... take private donations, yes, but not crowd fund.
Ah, but the question was, " ... another round of Kickstarter/crowdsourced funding for Axanar fans?"never tell alec what he can or cannot do:

well there really is only one, right. at this point i won't even try to predict what's gonna happen. no, fuck that, here's what's going to go down. it's either:" ... another round of Kickstarter/crowdsourced funding for Axanar fans?"
I was just thinking, they should have found some way to get some of the money from the sale back to the crowdfunding backers. It's kind of shitty that they got all that money for the place, and then went and sold it off. They actually did a nice job with the place.

The sad thing is the amount of donor money that is just... gone now with nothing to show for it.
Unbelievable. I wonder how he's going to get around the deal with CBS? Find some kind of phrasing that keeps them just barely on the right side of it, or just play it straight and hope CBS let's it slide?never tell alec what he can or cannot do:

This. Because it keeps the dream alive.- lane-campain to pay the rent for the axanararesvalkyrieindustryrocketworxowcstudiowarehousesoundstage
- failed campain
- then nobody says anything for 3-6 months
- image repair campaign and probably studio move
- repeat.
I thought he owned the building. I thought that was all of big kickstarter was for, so he could buy the studio. What sale?
The studio was owned by a landlord. Alec has a lease. He negotiated to get out of lease early and property went back to landlord and is now being leased to somebody else.
Whatever Alec left behind the landlord is free to do with as he pleases.
you'd think that, but it was a lease of a warehouse, which he wanted to sink $1m plus into to convert into a soundstage.I thought he owned the building. I thought that was all of big kickstarter was for, so he could buy the studio.

Unfortunately, Alec doesn't live in the real world. That is how those kind of things are done in the real world.
