This video just popped up on my YouTube feed. I love how LFIM is showing off the bridge set and promising that filming will start soon like we're still in 2015

Latest Donor Emails: Casting for the L.A. shoot has begun, and "garage sale" emails from Ares Studios at least twice a day for the last couple of days.

The email that angers me the most is that AP will be doing another Kickstarter for the feature length Axanar script to be printed because they "owe some donors of the 2015 Indiegogo a bound copy of the script that didn't get one." Well, if it's the version of the script that I already read, it isn't very good.

I'm so angry about it that I'm not going to say anymore.

That email means Alec Peters is just being a dog.

Is there a half-hour script out there? I only remember the execrable feature script that leaked.

Yep, it came out around when the lawsuit with director #3 hit. It's likely on Axamonitor somewhere

Okay, I had to know what these hit-worthy stupid questions were. Source.

I missed donating to the Axanar Kickstarter. Can I still donate?

Can I still get a DVD or Blu-Ray of Prelude to Axanar?

I donated to the March, 2014 Prelude to Axanar Kickstarter. When will my perks arrive?

When will the digital download be available to donors?

I haven’t received anything yet. What should I do.

Are you shipping perks for the feature film’s fundraiser that ended in August of 2014?

When will the Backerkit email be sent out?

How do I change my address?

Can I upgrade my donation that was made to the feature’s fundraiser?

I'm guessing it's the "I haven't received the stuff you haven't sent yet" question that got annoying.

All these "stupidest" questions were avoidable by... sending out the perks that were paid for in good faith.

 Shocking... the sheer nerve of these people to politely ask about what they're owed!

How dumb are you to get in on the scam pyramid scheme at this point? A kickstarter to pay for the perks of a previous kickstarter from years ago that they’re straight up telling you they never bothered to honor. But donate to this one, we’ll totally honor it, promise.*

I really hate to say this but I really like that bridge design, a nice updating to the TOS without going over the top tech like the current offerings

I have never disliked designs made for the series
I do think Ares looks more advanced than the TOS Enterprise despite predating it.

Reusing the ST09 designs (with new nacelles) was weird considering.

Anyone that thinks they'll be using this money for anything other than sushi and carpet, simply hasn't been paying attention.

The Ares has TMP detailing, a classic movie-era deflector, a bridge of animated graphics and touchscreens yet comes before TOS? And why do we even need the Enterprise if the Ares is as badass as she's presented in Prelude and the unmade Axascripts?

I'm curious if whatever they use for the keyboard area of the consoles is cheaper than authentic jelly bean buttons would have been.

The new ST-09/Kelvin style consoles at the front of the bridge look great. The pilot's console looks like something with a clashing aesthetic dropped into the middle. The unfinished science station looks awful.

Yeah, and they showed the Connie in Prelude, and it looks identical to TOS, so they didn't even try to make it look more advanced that the Ares. Fan service.

Indeed. The design language definitely has that fan feel to it of trying to be both TOS and not all at the same time.

But, the Ares class is definitely more advanced and that is also the trend of fan ships of being more awesome that a Constitution! Faster than a speeding Hermes!

Emails coming out of the production are starting to flow heavier now, often 2-3 times a day.

Yes, this morning, strike that, just this very moment, I got an update on the bound hardcover Axanar script crowdfunding, which was kicked off of Kickstarter (because of the haters) and is now being run independently.
